Game Over: EmailGate Just Crippled the Clinton Express
Observer ^ | 5/26 | John Schindler

Posted on 05/26/2016 11:47:34 AM PDT by TangledUpInBlue

Then there’s the troubling matter of EmailGate, the long-running scandal that this column has covered in great detail. That Ms. Clinton and her senior staff misused email during her tenure as secretary of state has long been crystal-clear. Refusing to use government email for government work was a violation of policy, while Team Clinton’s routing of said emails through a private server, then putting classified information on it—including above top secret information from the Intelligence Community—looks like a violation of several federal laws.

Early denials from the Clinton camp tried to make the entire matter go away, insisting there was no “there” there. Once that folded in the face of massive evidence that something indeed had gone very awry with Secretary Clinton’s emails at Foggy Bottom, the excuses shifted to ones familiar to those who experienced the 1990s. Everybody does it. It’s not really a big deal. Above all, this is politically motivated. These false accusations are the machinations of a Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.

Such dodges held water for months among Hillary fans, aided by parts of the mainstream media which, long accustomed to running interference for the Clintons, continued to do so, attempting to muddy waters that to those familiar with laws and regulations on the handling of classified materials are actually decidedly clear.

I sure hope he's right, but he seems overly optimistic to me.

When I see a Clinton do the perp walk I’ll believe, until then it’s all for not.
Clintons have always had sacrificial lambs, always.

They are so terrified of the accelerating Trump Train that Hillary could barbeque babies on live TV and the media would still cover for her

Unless the Justice Department decides to prosecute, which I doubt strongly, Hillary has nothing to worry about.

No. The media will treat this as a “mismanagement” of her email, and a brain-dead American public will not care. Trump should not just harp on the email server issue, but on Benghazi and her deliberate lying to the American public.

Given the late hit indictments by Lawrence Walsh in 1992 on Iran Contra that handed the Clintons the White House, if this takes down Hillary I’m calling it poetic justice.

And Biden is rubbing his hands together and licking his chops over it ...

The DoJ will trade not prosecuting and a post election pardon for Hillary dropping out and throwing her delegates to Biden.

My ultra - liberal ex high school teacher is crestfallen. He actually believed this was a ‘right wing’ witch hunt...so he is devastated now that the IG has corroborated the ‘right wing’ allegations.

I think she’s been wounded.

What did Obama know and when did he know it. This kind of thing was not a secret in DC. He allowed this go on.

The Clintons have more lives than 10 cats put together, all because the MSM protects them.

The MSM is the chief enemy in this country.

It will come to a plea deal. Clinton steps down from the campaign and serves no time.

I bet it goes down like this. Hillary goes to the convention and picks Joe Biden as her vice president. The convention elects the team, shutting out Bernie Sanders. After the convention, Clinton steps aside and Joe Biden goes to the top of the ticket and picks another vice president (ala George McGovern, Eagleton and Shriver).

Another excellent article by Schindler (March 2016) - the issues are very serious. I’m curious about Blumenthal .... who was his mole in the NSA?

Hillary Has an NSA Problem
The FBI has been investigating Clinton for months—but an even more secretive Federal agency has its own important beef with her

http://observer.com/2016/03/hillary-has-an-nsa-problem/

Now, over two months later, I can confirm that the contents of Sid Blumenthal’s June 8, 2011, email to Hillary Clinton, sent to her personal, unclassified account, were indeed based on highly sensitive NSA information. The agency investigated this compromise and determined that Mr. Blumenthal’s highly detailed account of Sudanese goings-on, including the retelling of high-level conversations in that country, was indeed derived from NSA intelligence.

Specifically, this information was illegally lifted from four different NSA reports, all of them classified “Top Secret / Special Intelligence.” Worse, at least one of those reports was issued under the GAMMA compartment, which is an NSA handling caveat that is applied to extraordinarily sensitive information (for instance, decrypted conversations between top foreign leadership, as this was). GAMMA is properly viewed as a SIGINT Special Access Program, or SAP, several of which from the CIA Ms. Clinton compromised in another series of her “unclassified” emails.

Currently serving NSA officials have told me they have no doubt that Mr. Blumenthal’s information came from their reports. “It’s word-for-word, verbatim copying,” one of them explained. “In one case, an entire paragraph was lifted from an NSA report” that was classified Top Secret / Special Intelligence.

How Mr. Blumenthal got his hands on this information is the key question, and there’s no firm answer yet. The fact that he was able to take four separate highly classified NSA reports—none of which he was supposed to have any access to—and pass the details of them to Hillary Clinton via email only hours after NSA released them in Top Secret / Special Intelligence channels indicates something highly unusual, as well as illegal, was going on.

Suspicion naturally falls on Tyler Drumheller, the former CIA senior official who was Mr. Blumenthal’s intelligence fixer, his supplier of juicy spy gossip, who conveniently died last August before email-gate became front-page news. However, he, too, had left federal service years before and should not have had any access to current NSA reports.

Clinton would not be granted a security clearance based on what she's already admitted to in this scandal. That alone should disqualify her for any elected office.

We’ll know when it’s coming — if it’s coming when they start bandying the legal term “Spoliation of Evidence” about.
