Hundreds of young Muslim girls have flocked to swimming lessons in Copenhagen's immigrant-heavy Tingbjerg district after Hovedstadens Svømmeklub (Capital City Swimming Club) introduced segregated swimming sessions.
While the swimming club has hailed the move as a "recipe for integration", politicians and commentators have criticised the concept as being against Danish values.
The girl-only sessions, which also take place with windows and doors to the swimming hall blacked out, were set up in response to religious and cultural requirements put forward by parents, reports Berlingske.
The newspaper reports that 246 girls of non-Danish ethnic origin between the ages of five and 12 have begun attending swimming lessons at the hall since the sessions were introduced.
“We have gone from zero to several hundred girls in three years, and have successfully established a swimming option for a specific group, which would otherwise find swimming difficult to access because of religion,” Lars Sørensen, the director of Hovedstadens Svømmeklub (HSK), told Berlingske.

What about men who self-identify as a Muslim girl?
Back in the early 60’s I was aquatic director at a YMCA (head life guard). Swim suits were not allowed, lint clogged the filters. We had different nights for men and women.
Back in the early 60’s in my high school days we went coed skinny dipping.

It’s not a secret anymore that the Soviets were funding and directing left-wing activities against governments in Western Europe during the Cold War - so they could obviously sever Western Europe from the United States without firing a shot, and they nearly did, particularly in the late 1970s.
What we don’t really know is just how far they went. I’m starting to think much of everything on the left was Soviet-directed, including mass immigration, gay everything, the greens, etc. Then the Cold War ends, and the direct control ends...but like robots, the people they controlled, even after being freed, never changed - and continue to be pussified and trying to take down Western values.
Eastern Europe was different - the last thing the Soviets wanted to do there was agitate the masses, since they already had friendly governments in place. So the left-wing infrastructure was never set up there, and the people there are behaving just as all of Western society used to behave, before the Cold War started - which was God-fearing and values-driven. Same for Russian people themselves now.

So do I. Back in my college days, I spent one summer as a life guard- swimming instructor at a neighborhood pool. One evening a week, there was a "gals only" swimming lesson followed by recreational swim. Bathing suits were quite modest. The purpose was to give nuns and others with religious restrictions an opportunity to swim within their restrictions.
Guess what? If was incredibly popular and a great evening, and not just with the target groups.
It seems the only hope to save Europe is a reformed Warsaw Pact that leaves the EU. Will their EU masters and the pols they buy off let them?

There were two Danish girls that were staying at a friends of mine house as exchange students back when I was young. One was Asian, which means she was adopted by people of Denmark, the other a cute blond but anyway they had pictures of them on a topless beach showing of course their breasts. Just wonder how the Muslims are putting up with that?
Segregation, both in Europe and in the US, is making a big comeback, ironically at the behest of the left.
That’s very true... Just goes to show that there were good reasons to have the various segregations. We are not all equal.
Of course the left will continue to insist that there be equal results. My wish would be to segregate liberals and conservatives into separate countries.

I plead guilty as charged to pessimism as charged regarding what remains of the West.
Of course you're right that what the future holds in store is unknowable, all we have to go on is what happened in the past and any lessons that might apply to our time.
I pray that you are right and I am wrong.
I don’t see a happy fix. I see wars which will cull the herd and determine the outcome, for good OR ill, as no one can predict the outcomes.
