“What puzzles me, is I distinctly recall Newt Gingrich telling an interviewer that a large percentage of their time is spent on how to circumvent the media, and get their message out.

All those meeting and all that (I assume) brain power, and the msm still was able to lie and advance their agenda without much effort.”

Times have changed, and new media has created opportunities that few saw and fewer are able to take advantage of.

Ted Cruz did some of it, and that got him into the Senate.

Donald Trump is taking full advantage, and destroying the media cartel in the process. He is the man of the hour, and has the talents to do the job.

He is trailblazing the path for others to follow. With just a little luck, this election will neuter the “progressive” media cartel that has been destroying this nation for 50 years.

I wonder if this will be seen as that, Trump beating himself.

Uh, no.

One difference between Trump and Biden is that the latter’s gaffe’s are real.
Even tho they are close in age, Trump has far more energy, appears younger and is actually far quicker on his feet.

IQ doesn't mean much because it's intelligence potential.

What Trump has is far more important: experience and knowledge growing a multi-billion dollar private business.

It was RedState chief Erick Ericsson who accused Trump... Trump was merely describing the look Me-agin Kelly had on her face.. blood rage.

“It is unfortunate to have to disinvite him. But I just don't want someone on stage who gets a hostile question from a lady and his first inclination is to imply it was hormonal. It just was wrong,” he said.

“Personally, I’ve never been a big Trump fan ... for what up to this point has been a very enigmatic(nebulous?) political platform.”

Really?

You mean like naming a list of potential Supreme Court candidates, something neither Hillary nor any other candidate has done?

Or how about his DETAILED 21st Century foreign policy paper? What’s Hillary’s foreign policy? “Nebulous” perhaps?

And didn’t Trump just name a SPECIFIC set of energy policies yesterday, including building the XL pipeline, drilling in the Atlantic and restarting mining coal?

HALTING Muslim immigration for a while? That’s “nebulous”?

Building a barrier between Mexico and the U.S. to halt illegal immigration? Not specific enough for you? Maybe you want Trump to tell us the height and width of the wall?

Rebuild our military? You want to know how many tanks Trump’s going to buy?

Taking care of our vets? You want to know how much penicillin Trump’s going to buy?

Defund sanctuary cities? You want to know the dollar figure?

Terminate the Iran “deal”? You want to know on what day?

Destroy ISIS? You want to know how many tons of bombs Trump plans on dropping?

This is NOT a “nebulous” list, and ignorant statements like yours REALLY pisses me off.

Oh, and since you’re SO unhappy with Trump’s “enigmatic (nebulous?) political platform” I’m assuming you find Hillary’s tremendously detailed “Fighting for Us!” political platform so MUCH more appealing, being as how there’s nothing nebulous or enigmatic at all about it.

Like the rest of us, you have two choices: Trump or Hillary. Get behind one or the other and don’t attack the one you’re behind.

The TV Networks would be insane to pass this epic adventure & debate up!!! The viewer numbers will break all debate viewers in the history of the USA, or anywhere else!!! For Fox News Channel, giving 10-15 million dollars to a women’s health charity, is nothing but, “Chump Change” for FNC. Come on Murdoch & Ailes get with the program. Shucks, ya can even use Bret, Megyn & Brit as your moderators. FNC....annouce an agreement with the date....this afternoon!!! It win/win for all except deadbeat, loser, from the past, Hillary Rotten Clinton!!!

Love it!!!

It’s Hillary’s campaign Committee, the DNC, and the MSM versus Trump and Trump outnumbers them.

you will see him agree with Sanders even more than he disagrees

Short-term advantage, long term problem. We need just the opposite of what Crazy Bernie is selling and I'm not sure how tuned in Trump is to that.

THE big political issue and challenge in America is to dismantle 80% of the mostly unconstitutional $4 trillion central government. Reinstate the Constitution as the Supreme Law of the Land by putting the central government back under its legitimate constitutional limits and bring a rebirth of individual, political, and economic freedom to America.

>> A Trump / Sanders debate would de-facto eliminate the bitch from public life forever and the criminal proceedings would commence immediately

Trump would also have a chance to cut a deal with Bernie, in person.

“All Trump has to do to beat the stuffing out Bernie is say “Venezuela” in his response...”

I don’t think he will do that. I think he will go light on Bernie only to make him a better candidate against Hillary in the California primary. He wants Bernie to win California over Hillary.

“Trump’s opening statement should be how rigged the system is towards Bernie and he deserves to be heard.”

That is good. I hope the Trump people are reading Free Republic.

For the first 10 months it was the entire machine including the RNC.

No wonder he is successful.

“This could backfire on Trump”

“Lighten up. There’s no downside to this for either Trump or Sanders. They’re both having fun as they tear down the rigged system.”

I agree. I think both men are smart enough to use this chance to take down Hillary and leave each other pretty much alone.

The networks are already bidding for this show.

Every move Trump makes is pure genius. His enemies have no idea what they are facing or how to attack him. Personally I think this election is just about over.

Trump put her fat ass on the back-Berner.

All he did was agree to debate Bernie.

The Clinton Camp must be apoplectic at this point. Watch out for flying ashtrays.

“The real brilliance of this move in helping to court the Bernie supporters is that it would force them to see and hear Trump directly for themselves. Most of the reflex reaction Bernie-bots have to Trump is based on “everyone knows” sort of innuendo—talking points they parrot despite having never actually heard the man speak in anything other than carefully edited soundbites that have been fed to them.”

This bears repeating. I agree with your assessment. I recently talked to a elderly Hispanic lady who is quite conservative. She said that Trump’s racism reminds her of what she experienced in Texas 60 years ago. All of her information about Trump is from Univision or the MSM.

Direct experience of Trump could do a great deal to convince her that he has been misrepresented.

This is brilliant.

Uncle John ( who he is named after) wasn’t just a professor on MIT
He developed the radar England used to protect themselves during WWII while taking a break from the work with medical radiation we all use today

Entire family is VERY gifted !
