No he was not.
Canada did not recognize dual citizenship at the time, so Ted ‘ s mother gave up her United States citizenship to get Canadian Citizenship in order to get cheaper medical care.

Sticking your fingers in your ears and cupping your hands over your eyes does not erase that revelation.

Few people here want the little Goldman Sachs puppet anyway, since he embraced the Bush wing of the Republican party and sided with the #Blacklivesmatter thugs, illegal aliens, Muslims, and communists who attacked Trump’s Chicago rally.

I will continue to post information regarding the originalist Constitutional definition of natural born Citizen as understood by our Founding Fathers. Get over it.

Our Founding Fathers were not “natural-born citizens”, you braying jackass. And, btw, the Declaration of Independence is NOT a legal document. Get a clue and get a grip and stop spamming this board with your copy and paste nonsense ad infinitum.

"Our Founding Fathers were not “natural-born citizens”, you braying jackass."

That is why the grandfather clause was added to Article II, Sec 1, Clause 5:

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.

And hence, Cruz is 100% eligible.

Have a nice day.

I would point out Rubio’s Gang of 8 betrayal, but Beck is pro-illegal alien, so it wouldn’t matter to him.

The grandfather clause in Article II was for those who lived during the time when the Constitution was adopted. It does not apply to Ted Cruz. The language is very clear.

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.

"And, btw, the Declaration of Independence is NOT a legal document."

Yes, it is a legal document. It was an indictment against King George for violating the rights of the colonists.

It is also a document of international law. The Declaration was strongly influenced by de Vattel's The Law of Nations, a book that Benjamin Franklin said was "continually in the hands of the members of our Congress". Beacuase Vattel made independence fundamental to his definition of statehood, the primary purpose of the Declaration was "to express the international legal sovereignty of the United States". If the United States were to have any hope of being recognized by the European powers, the American revolutionaries had first to make it clear that they were no longer dependent on Great Britain
