GOP convention planners are trying to deal with the fact that few governors, Senators, and senatorial candidates will be attending the gathering in July.

Along with dozens of House members likely to skip the conclave, the absence of establishment Republicans may undercut Trump's call for party unity, say some analysts.

But other say that Trump doesn't need these politicians anyway - he won without them and will go on without their support if necessary.

Yesterday I saw that our *senators* (McCain and Flake) will not attend. This morning I called their offices and told them I am disgusted with the both of them.

I could tell they were upset. /s

uh, you forgot...ungrateful bastrds!

They are giving the finger and saying “F You, peasants” to all the Republicans who campaigned, donated and voted for them.

Its ironic that they have all kvetched for months now, about how Trump is not a “ TRUE REPUBLICAN “—THEN .....................

when THEIR SACRED REPUBLICAN PARTY has THE convention, they are no shows. Who’s not a TRUE Republican now?

so, what sort of ‘event’ do the elites have planned for the convention that would necessitate their absence from the convention?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

On top of that the Clevland Police Department has refused to police the event because their Workmans comp won’t cover any injuries.

This is shaping up to be a violent situation.I hope that Trump hires Blackwater.

It is my understanding that the refusal was not by the Cleveland police but rather the Greenesboro NC police that were to lend a hand. It was the NC cops that chose not to come because of the insurance problem.

I would think that if Cleveland wants them a remedy will be found

An even simpler solution would be to hire Blackwater. No fuss, no muss and no politics involved in securing the venue.
