so-called “fact checking” from liberal churnalists is generally total propaganda for the left
So, what you're saying is that Philip Bump of the Washington ComPost volunteered for the tail end of the Hillary Clinton Human Centipede...
LOL! Now that was pretty funny.
Yes. Daily show can be funny at times but it’s very politically left wing yes. The others aren’t even occasionally entertaining - just communist propaganda organs. Pure and simple
Oh, BTW: "Throughout the tenure of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, there was no permanent inspector general at the State Department. Moreover, President Barack Obama did not nominate anyone for that position while she was Secretary." - from Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inspector_General_of_the_Department_of_State#Vacancy_during_Clinton_tenure)
I’m not sure if “Hillary @sslamprey” is as funny, but I interchange them from time to time.
It takes the writer 3 pages to “explain” the 9 tiny little charts. Turns out (1) not everything is improving (Obama’s lie), (2) Obama didn’t much fix the problems he inherited, some things got worse, other things got better or at least didn’t become worse. So, if you grade Obama on a curve, he gets a C. That’s the progressive’s story. Things could be worse.
MEDIAN HOUSEHOLD INCOME: latest figures are down, not up

UNEMPLOYMENT RATE, narrow and broad, has not returned to pre-2008 level:

Regarding Quantitative Easing (rise in Fed assets)
This is an indicator of how soft the economy has been. It’s not really a criticism of the Fed.
LABOR FORCE PARTICIPATION:
Had been falling because of aging of labor force. Now it’s falling both because of aging AND frustration with finding work.
As a result, Bushs final budget was used in the years thereafter (which resulted in an additional $1T worth of deficit spending on top of the already sickening deficit spending ... Porkulus was another disaster that, I think, was used against Bush). This gave the Dems cover for all of the money they were blowing as they attributed the spending to Bush.
^^^^^ This is the money quote from your response. It’s also the reason we have had continuing resolutions every year except last year. The Federal budget was increased by 32% in Obama’s first year through this slight of hand. 32%! You are the only other poster here I’ve seen articulate that fact. Kudos.
The Wapo beat National Review on line to this cesspool.
lol. It probably would’ve gone over my head.
And i just wasted 30 minutes of my life looking up that horrific movie, even though every fiber of my being was screaming, “Don’t do it!” Ugh. I really need to learn to listen to myself.
I myself have never seen it - just read reviews, and maybe saw a couple of pictures.
I won't ever go further than that.
I think it's an apt description of Hillary and her "journolist" fanboyz & fangurlz.
I don’t know if I’m 100% right, but I’m pretty sure I’m not making an egregious error.
The Dems never wanted to pass a budget ... they wanted that extra pork. Once the RINOs got control, they paid the budget lip service, but, for the most part, didn’t do a thing about it ... anything they did do, Obama took credit for it (the audacity of that pile of garbage to take credit for a spending cut is beyond reproach).
You are correct. I’ve followed the budget process and that is exactly what happened.
There is a high correlation in the deficit trend (up or down) with the party that controls the House of Representatives over the past few decades. It is even stronger if you could compare the margin of control (number of seats).
I haven’t done the calculation in a few years. I’ll try to dig up the data and see if the correlation has held.
WaPo used money printed and not money created. Most increases in the money supply are electronic and are electronically transferred into the Fed Banks. Apples and Oranges...
Zero Hedge counters the author - decisively.
Countered the author on only one of the graphs. Wish they had done the rest too.
