Sure, anecdotally , a few human beings who are black help a few people who are white. We never hear of that. By the same token we never hear of what blacks do to white people unless it horrendous and forcibly brought to the attention of the press. So a lot of assaults, murders, rapes are committed you never hear about. Do you ever read of what white people do to help blacks? No. It doesn’t show the “The Man always takes an attack on black people.”

This is one of those “little incivilities” I’ve seen creeping into public life over the last ten years.
Feet (with shoes) on seats
Yawning without covering mouth
Sneezing or coughing without covering mouth
Casual jaywalking
Not holding a door for someone behind you (any age, sex, race, physical condition, etc.)
Not clearing a table in a fast food restaurant after finishing
Littering (I’ve seen people dump garbage on the ground within two steps of an available trash can)
I could go on.
These are all symptoms of public life unraveling.
When liberal lying, obfuscating and misleading media REFUSE to publish even basic accounts as a FULL description of the perpetrators of a crime is where your argument breaks down completely.
In THIS particular case, the New York Post published a description of the two perps that said one was black and the other ‘hispanic’ looking. National CBS chose to REMOVE those two descriptions. Why is that?
Every crime in this country cannot be whitewashed as to the race or ethnicity of the perpetrators. It does not make sense, especially when the perpetrators have not been caught and one of the functions of so-called media is to get the word out so that citizenry can be on guard and vigilant, lest they fall prey to the same perps.
Your description of the decency you’ve seen wrt black people is not unfamiliar. It is largely the case. But that isn’t what we’re dealing with here. We deal with an uncontrolled and unchecked mass of feral criminals and miscreants who feel their downtrodden racial identity gives them license to make havoc. And the media and our government reinforces that every day by their inaction and duplicity.
Amish is a religion, not a race. It was a little funny at first but that was years ago, and it was a contrast between religions. Morons are the ones tat mix their metaphors. And no, it is not funny.
You are correct. I travel extensively, and I always try my best to be courteous, and people of all races are also courteous and friendly in return.
These kind of statements are not really directed at black people to imply all black people are criminals or violent, these kind of statements, I believe, reflect peoples frustration at the media and how far the media will go to hide facts of a story by using euphemisms and double standards for these crimes that happen each and every single day, whereas if there is a single and seemingly rare instance of the races being reversed every single media outlet in the country would be blaring out the racism in this case 24/7 at volume 11 for weeks to the point that cities and neighborhoods would burn to the ground.
So, there are comments and off color Un-PC jokes that occur here, but I would bet dollars to donuts the vast majority of people here do not harbor ill feelings with any person who like them are just living their lives day to day, and trying to take care of their families and communities. I will bet almost all people here treat real people they meet in the real world with the respect and courtesy that they would hope for in return. I see it everywhere I go. However, you will never see acts of kindness in the news because it would not grab headlines.
Or the Uranus jokes in any thread relating to space, planets, astronomy. You want to have an intelligent discussion and all you get is Uranus, Uranus, Uranus.

Put me on the side that appreciates the “Amish” reference. I’m intelligent enough to see that this is not a knock on the Amish but a clever euphemism to describe feral ghetto trash...or Muslim terrorists.

It’s really not a matter of race, but culture. The number of black-on-white crimes is disproportionate, but far more decent black people are victims of crime. Thugs target the poor and defenseless, and occasionally the victim is white. For every “black thug attacks white person story, ten black crimes were not even mentioned.” Yes the bias is clear, but the agenda is just as strong on both sides.
I have been poor and lived on the wrong side of the tracks, and most of the people were decent—just trying to get by. The government uses these folks even while they keep them chained in dependency. These teens are products of American culture. They have been taught from birth that they are victims and should be entitled to take what they desire. Such “youths” will make up Bernie’s army just as they did Mao’s. But it can’t happen here...

I would certainly hope you’ve interacted with black people who act in a decent, civil manner. It’s what we expect out of all people regardless of their race.
Had not heard that permutation until now. Oh well.
