Calling normal human identification "racist" or "bigoted," is not a rational argument against the right of a people to continue to be a people; but it flows out of something that has been afoot for two generations, at least.

He is attacking the judge for his own reasons and he may have valid ones. The judge, I understand is a member of La Raza, and given the tenor of the Presidential Race Trump may well have a point in that this judge may need to recuse himself. Trump in likelihood will just appeal things to another court if necessary. By the way Trump is not the first or last person to rail against a judge they did not like.
