Gingrich: Trump remarks about judge 'mistake,' 'inexcusable'
Fox News ^ | June 05, 2016

Donald Trump supporter Newt Gingrich on Sunday sharply criticized the presumptive GOP presidential nominee for his racially-sensitive remarks about the judge presiding over the Trump University civil fraud case.

“It was one of the worst mistakes Trump has made. Inexcusable,” the former GOP House speaker, who has become one of Trump’s closest advisers, told “Fox News Sunday.”

Trump has argued that American-born District Judge Gonzalo Curiel, whose parents are from Mexico, is biased against him, considering Trump’s vow to build a wall along the southern U.S. border to keep out Mexicans.

“He’s Mexican,” Trump told CNN on Friday. “We’re building a wall between here and Mexico.”

Gingrich, whose is considered a potential Trump running-mate, also called the comment a “mistake” but stopped short of calling it racist.

“That judge is not a Mexican. He’s an American,” he said. “I hope it was sloppiness.”

As a proponent of a lying, cheating, back-stabbing, unethical Senator from Texas; logic and common sense never made any sense to you anyhow.

“Gingrich: Trump remarks about judge ‘mistake,’ ‘inexcusable’”

Same old Newt. Hasn’t changed.

Newt is correct. Trump called this guy a Mexican. He is not a Mexican. He is an American. Hillary called Trump a Nazi due to his German heritage. That was wrong too, and we are all pissed at her for that accusation.

Trump should have attacked this guy based on his association.

Can’t people just stop picking one negative thing and continue to harp on that, ignoring the many important positive things a Trump presidency will bring?!

Apparently Newt prefers to be an enforcer of political correctness.

Wanna bet? Newt will be part of a Trump administration. They go way back, decades, and they talk daily.

“It wouldn’t hurt if he did throw out the facts a bit more clearly though.”

Oh what fun would that be? I’ve learned more about la Raza in a week than in a lifetime. Trump has us all asking questions, searching for answers.

Sometimes I think Trump has a real deficit when it comes to speaking—almost like he was neglected as a small child and had speech issues. I have the feeling he thinks much better than he speaks, as he has a strange inarticulateness for his obvious intelligence. If that judge is a member of La Raza, and his firm gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to Trump's rival, then the judge is obviously biased, based on his political leanings and heritage. There are US born people of Mexican heritage waiving Mexican flags outside Trump's events. Just because they are US born doesn't mean they aren't acting against US interests when it comes to the promotion of illegal immigration.

This is why Gingrich failed to stop the Clintons and why Trump will succeed.

Inexcusable is giving your wife divorce papers while she is suffering from cancer.

Judge should be recuse himself for 1. Lack of understanding of the law & 2. Any connection or support for La Raza aka Mexican KKK!

Judge is a member of “La Raza attorney association.” An association that has as a partner on it’s website, the La Raza organization. La Raza means “the race.” It is as offensive as the KKK Attorney Association would be with the KKK group listed as a partner on it’s website.

Trump is right.

Newt’s calling it like he sees it.

The message will get through to Trump. He needs to tune this stuff up if he’s to succeed.

Go Trump!
……………………………..

Agree.

I agree, but I have lost my interest in Newt for VP, maybe chief of staff.

I don’t like that all these GOP giving ammo to the dems.

Dems never shoot their own like the Pubs do.

They are sabotaging the Trump chances.

Save your ammo for Hillary, like the Dems do for Trump

I agree. Never been much of a fan of Newt. I’ll never get over him sitting on that park bench with Nancy Pelosi. He just doesn’t get it that what Trump says will only piss off those who won’t vote for him anyway.

I also don’t trust all this “gop unity” I hear about. I don’t trust them.
