Trump campaign wasting precious time, GOP critics say

Donald Trump is wasting precious time.

By now, Republican Party critics argue, the party's presumptive presidential nominee was supposed to have stationed senior staff in battleground states, moderated his fiery message to attract new supporters and begun raking in big money.

Instead, he's spending more time right now picking fights and settling scores than delivering a message that might help draw voters.

The media are Clinton lap dogs and/or Clinton attack dogs. They will tell any lie to help Clinton.

Yep

But why are so many Republicans attacking Trump and refusing to say anything negative about Clinton

    Three Reasons
  1. He was wrong to inject ethnicity and he seems incapable of repentance or correction. It was gross negligence on his part.
  2. He is not pivoting successfully to take on Clinton after her speech. Instead, nhe made it about his court case, not her corruption, not her gross negligence handling classified emails, but his court case and the ethnic heritage of the judge. It is all everyone is discussing and laughing about.
  3. He is dropping in the polls after leading ever so slightly. They sense electoral disaster from his mistakes. Perhaps he can recover but it seems a long shot. There just aren't that many persuadable voters left.

According to who? The party establishment losers who put up 16 candidates that listened to their advice and lost miserably. Let Trump do his own thing, it's worked so far.

Read the comments at the bottom of the article, talk about whistling past the graveyard. I love the Democrat over confidence this election season. DT is playing 3-D chess to their checkers. This brewha with the Hispanic judge..it;s 100% true he’s an unqualified hack who is unqualified to be a judge, and it’s 100% true he is a Hispanic racist hater with an agenda. The crepe hangers in the MSM and the GOPe are wringing their hands over Trump attacking him. DT was never going to win Ca, so piss on the Mexican LaRaza types. The other states with large Hispanic populations are Az and Texas...both states DT will win anyway. New Mexico, DT will probably win and states where they are marginally influential. Florida, please you have to know Hispanics, Cuban and South Americans HATE Mexicans. They view them as border jumping leeches and hoards of human locusts. I have family of Cuban decent and this is absolutely true.

(Notice, I said “the way he did”).

From what I've seen, Trump's criticisms are a slam dunk. This ambiguity allows his nay-sayers to get their heads firmly in the noose before he slaps the horse on the ass as he did with the funding for vets.

Your concern is noted newbie. If your gonna support Trump you better stiffen your spine. What, you think the media isn't gonna parse every word from him and feed you their meaning? Then your gonna believe their premise and show that your concerned.

UMPH! Wasting precious time?! This is is a subject on which they have SO much knowledge. They have been studying the subject since day one. Ask to see the stop watch running on how much precious time they have wasted as BO'B repeatedly tore shreds from our Constitution and, ripped apart our America, pouring salt on its wounds as he gouged the injury. Time waits for no one...least of all these 'intellectuals' . Onward Mr. TRUMP faster, faster still. "We're gonna do what they say can't be done. We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there."

“I would imagine because your initial premise is wrong.

People have been participating in record numbers for a primary. I think Trump knows what he’s doing.”

The first part of the group I described will take it upon themselves to register and vote for Trump. The second part of the group will go to a rally or support Trump on Facebook, but never get around to registering.

Trump needs both of those two groups. For the first group you don’t need to do much. They’ll take care of themselves. The second group needs the campaign to identify them and get them registered and get them to the polls.

That requires a significant ground game in each of the key states. Every election there is a state or two which is won or lost by a few hundred or a few thousand votes.

So get your act together Donald. You’re way behind where you should be getting your campaign organized.

It’s too funny how all you concern trolls think you know better than Trump, who has been winning it all so far, and giving him advice. It’s any wonder up until now the left always wins because weak links always buy their premise.

I think there’s still plenty of time for Republicans to make their case against Hillary.

Now’s the time to tempt her into saying things that will backfire on her — to give her rope.

Stopped reading right here. This is consultant class propaganda BS.

Not really wasting time. Trump has to address attempts to destroy him, and the Trump University deal is just one of them.

The MSM could finish Hillary off in a matter of days just by relating facts. But they and the GOPe are circling Trump.

The people upset by this are the ones who won’t vote for Trump, or any Republican for that matter, anyway.

Wonder if it ever occurred to them that “picking fights” with the right people and “settling scores” with the right people are PRECISELY what conservatives have been waiting for.

Oh, I understand your thesis on this. But let's remember the relative size of the two groups is pure speculation.

I think Trump has proven pretty definitively through Cruz that the "ground game" is NOT as effective as the old guard claims. His "air campaign" has proven more efficient, timely, and in tune with the current era, and thus far anyway, has been more effective.

While I don't want to paint those who advise "guilding the lily" as conceited or concern trolling, I do think they are innocently wrong.
