Well, that’s already Earth Day. April 22nd, 1970 was the 100th anniversary of Lenin’s birth. Just like Orwell’s 1984 was titled to commemorate 100 years since the founding of the Fabian Society.

The problem here is NOW they are conflating “respect for religion” with convenience.

The prime reason for days off is because lots of people take off that day, and make the work/school useless.

Are there THAT many Moslems that they really are inconvenienced by Moslem holidays? I doubt it.

In my county, I just read that this coming year they will add a couple Moslem as well as Hindu holidays.

Unfortunately, Islam has sprung up here with the building of this damn mosque on one of our old rural routes. Never mind the fact Kolumbia endlessly pats itself on the back as being better than everywhere else, so of course we can’t wait to have head-choppers here with us!

I know we have plenty of Hindus, but I still don’t know if we have so many of any of them that it disrupts the school schedule. THAT has been and should be the driver for what days are off.

If the left gets its way, Christian holidays will disappear and be replaced by muzzy holidays. Their goal is to replace Christians by muzzies.

How many school days do Christians get off? Easter is on Sunday, and Christmas in during the New Year break.

We used to get off for a Spring Break, three days during Easter weekend.

If we gave every new religion their week days off we could probably eliminate school all together.

Americans aren’t “wary.” They are sick and tired of all the P.C. BS where every little group gets its holidays on the agenda. Let each school district decide for itself.

Does this only apply to Muslim holidays? What about Christian and Jewish holidays?

with study, yesterday wasn’t the start of Ramadan to the Father and Son-

It was the 1st Day of His 3rd month.- The Day of the New Moon.
(Ezekiel 46:1)

according to scripture, they were to be feast and banquet days and the temple was to be open and the markets/shops closed.(Like Amos 8:5)

Sort of like Christmas once a month.

And with study, we can know the Day of the New Moon commemorates what ‘was’ before He said ‘Let there be Light’.

And why one of those ‘New Moon Days’, when the sun clothed the woman and the moon was under her feet (Rev 12:1), would turn into the birth day of the Word made flesh.

Yesterday would be holy in His Kingdom. But not for the reason muslims understand.
And Judaism and Christianity don’t get it either.

Which is why the world is in the mess it is. The world has decided yesterday was Monday June 6th or for some, the start of Ramadan- instead of what the day represented to the Father and Son.
