Bummer, but re-starting production of the Hog is about impossible.

Heh. Yes, the Enola Gay (and Bock's Car) should qualify. Not to mention the B-29 Tokyo firebombing raids. I guess it's how one measures 'lethal'.
The first thing I though of was the A-10. $:-)

From a standpoint of clean design, the B-29 was certainly one of the prettiest planes ever built.
