There is growing talk on the right of replacing Donald Trump, the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee for president, and even chatter about a possible alternative.
As Trump has floundered over the past week after questioning a federal judge’s impartiality because of his Mexican ancestry, Trump’s critics within the GOP have stepped up their efforts to thwart him. Some anti-Trump conservatives, who have tried for months to recruit an independent candidate, have begun looking more closely at attempting to persuade delegates at next month’s GOP convention to nominate someone other than Trump.
“There is a rapidly moving train toward the convention to try to obstruct it at the convention. Trump in the last 72 hours has given hope to people who think it’s now possible,” said Erick Erickson, a conservative radio talk show host and one of Trump’s most resolute critics.
“He’s starting to give everybody hope that he should be stopped at the convention,” Erickson said, though he cautioned that if Trump “cleans up his act then I think that hope will go away.”

The real issue is .. WHO APPOINTED THE JUDGE ..??
President Obama appointed the judge .. and what does that tell you .. it tells you that Obama will determine what the Judge does; because I don’t think Obama would appoint anyone unless he knew for sure what the person would do behind the bench.
Therefore, Obama very well could be driving the actions of this judge .. trying to get Trump discredited to the point that Hillary has a chance of winning the election.
Anybody that Obama appoints has already agreed to follow his instructions .. or they don’t get appointed.
Bill Clinton did the same thing.

The Republican Party started the year with 17 bona fide candidates for President. This was more candidates than any major party in history.
Trump has more wins than any other Republican or Democrat candidate in this year’s race with 36. He also has more primary wins with 33 and leads all candidates in percent of overall wins and in percent of primary wins.
Trump received 13,406,108 votes to date in the elections according to www.thegreenpapers.com.
As a result Trump has more votes than any candidate in Republican history.
Trump shattered the previous record by 1.4 million votes — and that was with 17 candidates in the race

I have been a registered Republican since 1967, after this election I will be going to the registrars office to drop my affiliation as a Republican, and re-register as a Conservative Party member.

I think it is a mistake to minimize this, not because it is ill fated, but because the next six weeks are going to be full of histrionics, collusion, conspiracy. These d bags are pretty much capable of anything, and the only way to deprive them of the element surprise is to be 360 dilligent. Let nothing be unexpected from them ...
