‘The Donald’ factor [Alert: Colorado Senate Republican primary race]
The Daily Sentinel (Grand Junction, CO) ^ | Monday, June 13, 2016 | Charles Ashby

Two Republican candidates for U.S. Senate have, at least for now, withdrawn their support of their party’s presumptive nominee for president, Donald Trump.

The two, Jack Graham and Ryan Frazier, said they did so because of Trump’s recent comments about an Indiana-born judge who Trump says is biased against him because of his “Mexican” heritage.

Ballots were mailed out last week and I've been waiting for something to happen that would simplify the choice for U.S. Senator in the crowded Republican primary race. This is it. As far as I'm concerned, these two guys are now out of the picture.

As for the three remaining candidates:

I've spoken with Robert Blaha at length during one of his meet-n-greets; and I'm inclined to vote for him at this point. Darryl Glenn made a big splash at the Republican state convention; but I've attended one of these conventions in the past and find them to be very badly infected with mob psychology and related stupidity; so "making a splash" at the convention is not a factor for me. I haven't heard much positive about John Keyser.

I think your going to see a lot of republicans canned this time around...

We gave them everything they wanted, they promised us for our vote, the stars, moon and beyond and we got stabbed in the back...we could care less right now if any of them are re elected...in fact it would sever our Country better if they were not re elected, any of them...

Withdrawing support because someone doesn’t like what someone else said, I didn’t hear or see that when Hussein was being elected or re elected, did you???

Well, that certainly makes the primary decision easier.

That leaves three left to winnow out.

Darryl Glenn is my preferred candidate for Senate.

Aside from his stirring speech at the State convention, we have the fact that the liberal Denver Post has come out against him.

It’s the kind of endorsement money can’t buy.

Glenn’s elevator speech strongly supports every Conservative point important to me.
Pro-Life
Pro-2A
Anti-Illegal Immigration
Strong Nat’l Defense
Balanced Budget
Reduced Taxes and Regulation
etc...

Looks like they jumped ship a few days too early. Too bad, out of sight, out of mind.

The two Colorado Republicans ought to mention how nicely anchor baby
Curiel (ahem) assimilated into American culture as soon as he got a "better
life"...prolly free college/law school .... and a judgeship.

Even though he's thoroughly (cough) assimilated into American culture (snix), Judge Curiel belongs to the ominously named "California La Raza Lawyers Association."

One of the co-founders publicly bragged about the La Raza group advancing the foreign policy objectives of Mexico. Mexico apparently ordered Hispanics:

<><> to takeover California,

<><> to takeover all of the state’s governmental institutions,

<><> to expel American citizens back to Europe.

The California La Raza Lawyers Association, has been widely characterized as “not pro-Mexican” by MSM (fronting for violent illegals).....and failed to report the inflammatory statements of founder, Mario Obledo, advocating the overthrow of the US government.

They have accomplished that one.

These two assholes are just dumb sheep and not worthy of political office... or any other office. They should apply for janitorial jobs mopping up floors in a men’s room.

One of the La Raza Lawyer's Group co-founders publicly bragged about the La Raza group advancing the foreign policy objectives of Mexico....

The stupid La Razan doesn't know that a provision in the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) is intended to prevent United States citizens and companies being used as instrumentalities for political purposes.

These persons are subject to the law when their activities relate to the sale, purchase, or transfer of goods or services (including the sale of information and or videos) within the United States or between the United States and a foreign country.

This covers exports and imports, financing, forwarding and shipping, and certain other transactions that may take place wholly offshore.....AND/OR A CROSS THE BORDER.

=================================================

The plaintiffs’ attorneys in two class-action lawsuits are pressuring U.S. District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel — the target of Trump’s racially charged attacks — to take steps that could make public four dozen video clips of Trump being pressed on whether his real estate seminar business was a sprawling scam, as well as his thoughts on the 2016 political race.

NOTE WELL Cheryl Mills was granted her request NOT to make public her deposition in Hillary's email case on grounds that she feared her statements would be used against Hillary.

But he’s not stupid.... he knows that neither Bush Republicans nor Obama Democrats will enforce the law. They will applaud as La Raza breaks it.

BTW, did anyone else hear Romney today condemn Trump for “trickle down racism”?

Trump needs to point out how well Judge Curiel has assimilated from his Mexican roots (/snix).

Robert,

Please note that I will not vote for any candidate who does not whole-heartedly support the GOP nominee for President, Donald J. Trump.

Our bellies are already full of spineless, PC, do-nothing, RINO, sellout, insider D.C. Uniparty traitors.

The Republican party deserves to die if it and it’s leaders and candidates do not support Trump, as failure to support Trump is the same thing as giving Crooked Hillary Clinton a ringing endorsement, since Trump and Crooked Hillary are our only viable choices.”

I received this response:

“Mr. Blaha has already endorsed and fully said he supports Mr. Trump.”

I then responded with this:

and yet, he CONDEMNED Trump in this debate according to the Denver Post:

http://www.denverpost.com/2016/06/07/colorado-republican-senate-debate/

and there’s this statement by 9 News:

http://www.9news.com/news/politics/colorado-gop-senate-candidates-agree-trumps-comment-was-racist/236258501

“All five Republicans appearing on the primary ballot for U.S. Senate in Colorado agreed that Trump’s recent comments on a federal judge were racist.”

doesn’t look like wholehearted support to me. How many Democrat candidates for Senate are condemning Hillary and agreeing she’s a racist?

Don’t think we’re not paying careful attention: we are.

The GOP better get on the Trump bandwagon 100% or they’re gonna go the way of the Whigs. We’re tired of this shite.”

[No response yet to the above.]
