Mitches job is to run interference for Hillary. Any issues that can hurt Hillary, will be defused by Mitch. Right now everyone wants a gun. Hillary looks horrible. Viola. Mitch to the rescue. UniParty 101. Americans are getting killed and threatened almost every day now. We need guns for defense. Time to ignore all DC Cartel laws. The situation is no longer tolerable.

“Can he really be that stupid?”

Yes, he has repeatedly proven himself that stupid. But what is worse, is that ‘we’ stupid people keep putting him back into office! Especially true for the people of Kentucky that keep voting for him.

Sounds like a: “Hold my beer while I light this fuse” sort of thing for Mitch to say....

When he bends over (as he often does to DIMocRATs) I bet he is “open” to a lot of things.

Can he really be that stupid?

Yes.

Look at him. During the 2012 election we heard about what a skilled and indispensable parliamentarian he was. I look at him and see a quivering old man obsessed with keeping his personal station.

If this is a ploy to buy time before shooting the treasonous proposal down, it’s a bad idea. Pretending that there might be good ideas in this area sends the wrong message.

If this is sincere, it’s an even worse idea. There are no more “reasonable” restrictions on our individual God-given right to defend ourselves, none that have not already become laws, and the ones that have been passed were useless, of course.

Just what makes this limp pecker think that anyone who is now in possession of a firearm of any kind would surrender the same just because the government said so. Just the opposite is the case. Time and time again gun sails skyrocket any time We the People think that a government confiscation is eminent. Are people buying guns just to surrender them when told to do so by a bunch of would be tyrants? I tend to doubt it.

The gop-e is indeed the party of stupid.

It’s not stupidity. It’s treason. McConnell is trying to get blue state “Republicans” like Ayotte and Kirk reelected. If that means being a defacto Democrat and advancing the Obama agenda he is just fine with that. That includes Obama’s SCOTUS pick, btw. Prepare yourself for a betrayal there AFTER THE GOP primaries.
