Massachusetts AG Investigating Conservative Groups With Ties to ExxonMobil
The Daily Signal ^ | 6/15/2016 | Michael Bastasch

Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey is now the latest state prosecutor to start investigating conservative groups with supposed ties to ExxonMobil, after she issued a subpoena for 40 years of internal company documents and communications with a handful of think tanks.

Healey’s office subpoenaed Exxon as part of a multi-state effort among liberal attorneys general to investigate Exxon for allegedly trying to cover up global warming science. Healey charges that the oil giant lied to shareholders and consumers about the risks of global warming in its communications and shareholder filings, according to a copy of the subpoena obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

This is so obviously overreach, as well as being a gross violation of the First Amendment, that the Taxachusetts AG must be removed, disbarred, tried, and jailed.

Who wants to start the countdown to the revelation point
when it is revealed that it is the enviro wackos in
conjunction with the lying media and government that is
really doing the scamming?

Shall we practice our shocked face expressions?

” she issued a subpoena for 40 years of internal company documents and communications with a handful of think tanks.”

What are the consequences if ExxonMobil tells her to FO?

Isn’t the standard document retention for a major company 12 years?.
Other than income and tax information.

Yep, the Nazi-like libs are emboldened because the GOP stands silent. Of course, the states where this is happening (NY, MA, CA) aren't exactly bastions of freedom, but this will spread if it isn't nipped in the bud (as it should be). Apparently, the Warmunists have forgotten (or choose to forget, more likely) Climategate.

And if Exxon/Mobil and Shell would MAN UP and immediately Halt ALL BUSINESS in every one of these States due to it being a Conflict of Interest. No Refinery, No SHipments, NO SALES OF ANY KIND. These States will stop this crap tomorrow!

Then tell them to go pound sand and you will NEVER SELL ANYT^HING to their State. Let them ALL WALK!

ExxonMobil also makes blackmail payments donations to green gangs. Are those being investigated?

And eyeamok, they want to ban fracking in MA now note, Exxon and everyone else could tell them to pound sand and leave them energyless if they don’t frack. BTW, the only formation is in Western MA, along the CT River and is supposedly immature and not worth exploring. It is a different mindset in MA and sometimes they think they are all that, ya would have had to grow up their then leave to understand....

Sigh...Remember good old Freeper Dr. Raoul?

I had the privilege of hanging out with him many times during my visits with the DC chapter of Free Republic during the last decade...just a great guy.

Fearless. He would go toe-to-to with the Code Pinkos and the Moveon.org types, and he would do it alone with a sign.

But the one thing that always made me and my buddy (both from Massachusetts, by the way, so we know about this turd AG) laugh our asses off was his Halliburton hat!

He went out and bought a Halliburton baseball hat that he wore to all the counter-protests. We were talking to him one day about his hat, and he said something to the effect that just wearing it was like waving a red flag in front of the liberals, and they would become completely unhinged at the sight of it!

We used to laugh, we could just imagine him sneaking up to some code pinko and whispering, just loud enough to be heard...”Halliburton!” and they would go to pieces.

This whole thing reminded me of that, because those liberals are exactly the same when it comes to ExxonMobil. It is as if all you have to do is sneak to within earshot and whisper “Big Oil!” or “ExxonMobil!”

You don’t have to grow up and leave to understand it...it is perfectly understandable to many of us conservatives up here.

Yeah, I know it probably doesn’t sound possible, but there are...:)
