Jack Cashill's TWA 800: Practicing Journalism in a Failed Republic
American Thinker ^ | June 16 2016 | James Sanders

Posted on 06/16/2016 9:12:21 AM PDT by Kaslin

James Sanders was the first investigative reporter to get beyond the TWA 800 press releases issued by the FBI. He paid a high price for doing so. If Sanders seems a bit cynical, the reader will soon understand why. -- Jack Cashill

America’s citizens must learn the truth: Reality is what remains after federal propagandists interpret fact. This is an absolute truth for citizens living in a failed republic -- including the United States in 2016.

I’m a medically retired police officer from southern California with more than thirty years experience investigating federal lawlessness buried within the National Archives storage boxes and the Freedom of Information Act. In my investigation of TWA Flight 800 among other incidents, I discovered that the greater story was the fall of the American Republic.

Over the decades it became abundantly evident the federal National Security State does not care what the law states. It will fight to keep the worst sins classified even though the law says documents classified secret and more than fifty years old must be declassified with only two very narrow exceptions: weapons of mass destruction and the name of a source.

Which is why we “regressives” long to return to an older America. This one ain’t America but a madhouse run by the inmates.

I have always been convinced that it was a missile strike.

Duh. The FBI ran the NTSB off and then the CIA quietly took over. There sure as hell was SOMETHING that made this “not a typical plane crash”. Many of us who were paying attention at the time were alarmed at what it was about this that made it so unusual. Just what it was we still don’t know but our trust in our own gummint is in the basement and this episode did not help things. The gummint hired liars can claim tin foil hat types all they want but their behavior just creates more. To the point that tin foil hat becomes a necessity, thanks to Lois Lerner, Koskinen, Hillary, Zero, etc., etc.

Sotomayor’s rôle in the coverup should be exposrd, and she should be impeached.

“I have always been convinced that it was a missile strike.”

Yup. I remember when it happened. There was video on the news that showed a brightly lit incoming object intercept the plane before it exploded. The video was never shown again. I have no doubt the plane was shot down.

Why was it shot down? If there is a cover up, what are they covering?

I have mentioned this before: At a security briefing at 0500 hrs the next morning, Pentagon Military intelligence folks told us a commercial airline had been shot down. They also indicated it was not friendly fire or an accident.

Yep...saw it too. It was intense bright orange and travelling about 5 degrees off of vertical. Does anyone have a pic of a thermite missile in flight?

And who did the Clintons send to force the head of the TWA800 investigation to terminate the inquiry and toe the line? Jamie “Wall of Separation” Gorelick, the Hillary crony who made 9-11 possible, then helped bust FannieMae and cause the 2008 financial crisis. Mentor of Merrick Garland, Obama’s choice for SCOTUS.

” If there is a cover up, what are they covering?”

As for the cover up: The official explanation was a ‘electrical spark’ in the center fuel tank led to BOOM!

On any given day I have 160+/- gallons of Jet A. Wires in my fuel tanks, I’m not worried. It does not burn with a match - it’s like diesel.

There was NOT an explosion in the center fuel tank from a ‘electrical spark.’

Why? Why would Bill Clinton ever admit there was any terrorism in the US of A on his watch?

It's not the fuel that explodes. It is the vapor that does. But, that doesn't answer my question. You don't shoot a 747 out of the air on purpose and not have a reason, good or perceived. I haven't heard anyone explain why the navy would shoot it down.

Can anyone name a “thermite missile”?

Second question: Can anyone name the type of US Navy missile that ‘shot down’ TWA 800?

There was another recent posting on this topic. A lot of sceptical freepers were ridiculing Jack Cashill.

The Clintons are so horrible that I will believe nearly anything that puts them in a bad light.

Same goes for the .fedgov pension-preserving types too.

The idea put forth by Cashill and others was that the shoot down was a mistake, which was subsequently covered up by the Clintons in the interest of his re-election.

I met freeper harpseal at a get together over 15 years ago and he convinced me of that then.

He knew, being military, exactly what he and his buddies saw that night off of Long Island.

Could you imagine Washington Post editors turning over Woodward and Bernstein's Watergate notes to Nixon's FBI instead of running the story?

That's what CBS did to Sanders and his seat cushion residue swatch to protect a Democrat President.
