Tell me if that situation sounds at all remotely similar to what we are living thru in this country, RIGHT NOW.
Of those countries only Italy uses the Euro.
I assure you that they and the other 18 countries in the Eurozone use the Euro exclusively.

They always were. Take a look at the structure of the Brussels government laid out in the 1957 Treaty of Rome.
Did not hear that the lira came back to Italy.

No mention was made of ‘lira’ since credit cards were used frequently. Any currency received in change, however, was not in Euro’s.
That’s interesting. What currency is preferred in Italy then?
Good for the Swiss... maybe this will help Brits stiffen their backbones.

Don’t forget no Prohibition. Any doctor could have told the bumb ditches that you cannot make millions of drunkards of all walks of life just go cold turkey. Not to mention the Marxist-grade destruction/confiscation of property it caused.
One of the biggest reasons the terrorists are winning is that their alpha males - the big unapologetic kickass types - run the show while we have an increasing amount of women who are absolutely no match for their agression.
That’s what I don’t getget... Countries fight bloody wars to get their independence and self determination, and then can’t wait to becoming subservient again by rushing to join a vile organization like the EU.
Many (like Eastern Europe) did it for money, but now realize it was a Faustian deal. Selling your soul to the devil is never a good deal.
What I hold as a principle is that it would be unjust not to allow all adults to vote except those who have been convicted of a felony and those who are dependent on government largess. What I think is that, as a group, women and blacks have policy preferences very much different than mine, preferences, which when enacted as law, lead to tyranny, immiseration and social breakdown.
I believe that Switzerland was a sounder polity before women there got the vote, as unfair as that may be.

But apparently you at least understand how noxious it would be for you to similarly, parenthetically, suggest: “If only we could repeal blacks’ right to vote.”

But you also feel it a good idea to publicly wish for repeal of women’s right to vote.
Again, you can see more clearly than to offer to the black equivalent—but feel no shame for pitching the female version.
I wasn’t ‘pitching’ anything, I am acknowledging an uncomfortable reality. It you can’t handle reality, maybe you would be more at ease on Democratic Underground.
So why not fully out yourself and “acknowledge the uncomfortable reality” that you think it is “too bad” we can’t take away the right of blacks, Hispanics—and sure, why not gays too—to vote too. That’s apparently your reality.
