On Thursday Senator Ted Cruz took to the Senate floor to address the Islamic terrorist attack in Orlando. The speech he gave should be the standard Republican response to the left’s deflection towards gun-control instead of addressing the real issue at hand: defeating radical Islamic terrorism.

Whether you supported Cruz, Trump, or someone else during the primaries, Ted Cruz has it exactly right in this video. It’s time for Cruz supporters to stop taking shots at Trump, time for Trump supporters to stop taking shots at Cruz, and come together with one voice to stand against the biggest threat we face today: Radical Islam and their Democrat allies. If we keep fighting among ourselves, get ready to say hello to President Hillary Clinton and say goodbye to the Second Amendment.

"Your choice"

Just because I'm planning to vote for Trump, doesn't mean I can't point out lies about Cruz.

Doesn’t every rational person?

Rational people do not hate Ted Cruz. Sufferers of Cruz Derangement Syndrome, like John Boehner, Paul Ryan, and Mitch McConnell, hate Ted Cruz.

And if SENATOR Cruz had not been in the SENATE, somebody would be bitching about him not doing his job.

In the wake of the attack, many of us predicted

I don't recall Cruz predicting a horrific attack by an ISIS gunman(s) on homosexuals in the USA. Got a link?

What I am thinking is that Trump gets a certain level of support on his own, and that this level of support MIGHT not be much affected by the presence or absence of a Cruz endorsement.

I said a Cruz endorsement would probably help, and you wondered why I wasn't certain it would help.

The calculus in my mind has nothing to do with the number of Cruz supporters, or those who would support either Cruz or Trump. It is more a view of Trump's appeal and "dis-appeal," on its own.

Cruz has followers, so he is a leader to some extent. So does Romney. But politics is a comparative game, and the strongest one on the stage right now is Trump. That "strong" cuts in both positive and negative directions.

I think it bears repeating, Cruz's proposed three year moratorium on immigration from certain countries supports Trump, bigtime.

Against my usual practice lately, I'll add that I detest Cruz. Still, his remarks are most welcome.

Thats Ok. Problem is, people like myself supported Cruz untill he decided to surround himself with the lowest form of politicians and hacks in the world.

Romney? Beck? just to name a couple? What does that say about the man?

How is the weather up in Norway Mi?

Cruz is a globalist. You can not be an American conservative and a globalist. However you can be a neocon and a globalist. So the person you were responding to is correct. Cruz is a Bush like neocon globalist.

‘I take it he pointed out that electing Mrs. Clinton would be national suicide, and that Trump’s policies will put American interests and safety ahead of the Dem/Hillary practice of flooding the US with Muslims?’

If the WWII generation had reacted to attacks on our people the way our present spineless generation is we would all be speaking German and loading the furnaces now. As soon as the elites have cowed Americans and the Muzzies are no longer of any use to them they will get rid of them, by then it will be to late for our country. We are making France look like bold warriors. I am thinking of making white flags, looks like we will need them in the future, there is money to be made.

It’s time for Cruz supporters to stop taking shots at Trump, time for Trump supporters to stop taking shots at Cruz,

Judging by the length of Grampa Dave's zot list, there aren't more than a handful of Cruz supporters left to take a shot at Trump.

I don't expect a complete endorsement by Cruz until the convention. He's likely holding out for a speech during primetime.

Sorry, missing a key Senate vote to play hooky in Mexico is not the same as blowing hot air beltway kabuki theater.

Given that Cruz is calling for a three year moratorium on immigration from certain countries
What's so magic about 3 yrs?

So now they know they only have to wait 3 yrs for everything to be forgotten and go back to the way it was before.

Trump says "until we find out what's going on" makes more sense (than anything Ted Cruz).

"Cruz should have been enthusiastically introducing Trump in his home state yesterday rather than blowing hot air in the beltway to no effect. As always, Ted Cruz is all about Ted Cruz.

This is so true. Never to be forgiven, nor forgotten.

Chalk this up as more all talk and no action as well as one more failed Ted Cruz legislative attempt.

Hey Ted. Remember all those bridges you burned?

Coming up on 100F in Cruz country. Surrounding ones self with Beck and Romney beats surrounding Hillary with campaign contributions.

I just wish he’d STFU and go back to Canada.

You reckon Canada would accept him back since he rescinded
his Canadian Citizenship a couple years ago?

You mean that by doinf such he aligned himself with Hilliary supporters?

Here is a bit of information for you since Cruz was for not banning Muslims before he was for Banning muslims.

1.) Trump says he wants to ban Muslims

2.) Cruz says he want to ban people from terrorist strongholds

Notice teddy wants muslims from supposedly 'non-terrorist strongholds'.

Can teddy say "Saudi Akbar!"?

Can tedster say "Go globalists go!"?

Can tedduh get an "Amen!"?
