Rep. Duncan Hunter: "I Am Done Explaining Trump"
Breitbart.com ^ | June 17, 2016 | Neil W. McCabe

Posted on 06/17/2016 2:51:17 PM PDT by Biggirl

The second congressman to endorse Donald J. Trump for president told reporters Thursday that he is no longer commenting on the presumptive nominee and it does not surprise him or bother him that Trump does not meet personally with his congressional supporter. “I am done with trying to articulate or explain or answer for what Donald Trump says,” said Rep. Duncan Hunter (R.-Calif.).

This once mighty website has been overrun by knee-jerk reactionaries who attack as their first impulse, even those who support their candidate of first choice.

Thanks for filling in the gaps and sparing me from trying to wade through Breitbart’s spamalooza website.

Of course NOT!

None of Mr. Trump's supporters or endorsers need to explain anything on Mr. Trump's behalf to the damn media. If MSM can't get it correct from Mr. Trump himself, then too damn bad.

Robert Welch in ‘’The Politician’’ was essentially saying this same thing c. 1958. His villain was Dwight D. Eisenhower.

I would feel the same way had Ted Cruz been the nominee

You would rather have Hillary Clinton ... the communist, abortionist, criminal, Benghazi Bitch, seller of secrets to Red China, lesbian, queer supporter, gun grabber ... as President, than Ted Cruz???

Seriously??? Would you have VOTED for the Hildebeeste?

That's insane. Absolute madness.

That or it's evil.

Try reading the entire article folks, and the money quote at the end:

"The congressman son of a congressman said he accepts that Trump is the boss and when he tells Republicans on Capitol Hill to “shut up,” he understands.

“It is not my job to answer for Donald Trump,” he said. “I am not even a surrogate. I am just an endorser.”

Hunter is on board with Trump and nothing has changed. But he knows that anything he says is going to be used as fodder by the libtard media and the ignorant fools who jump to conclusions.

You're wrong. Your statement is too general and too wide and encompassing.

San Diego City and San Diego County are very large now when compared to when I was born and raised here.

Several sections remain very conservative and others are liberal due to immigration by people from the east coast and from northern CA etc.

Donald Trump should tell the Republicans where to stick it, change his party to liberal and run as that.

I would still vote for him.

Yeah I think people are taking it the wrong way, judging by previous posts. He endorsed Trump, wants him to win, so he’s basically saying quit bugging me about every little thing Trump says.

I think the media are trying hard to get people to “disavow” what Trump says.
Now if they’d asked me, I wouldn’t have wasted all that breath trying to explain anything to a media who are not interested in doing anything but bashing Trump.

I would think that map gets a whole lot redder if you include East and much of North County.

To not support Trump is to support Hillary.

To not vote for Trump is to let a vote for Hillary go unanswered.

To vote for a Libertarian or other third party candidate is to support Hillary.

How can so called republicans and conservatives be so upset and repelled by Trump’s minor foibles that they would let Hillary waltz into the White House?

No matter how many times Trump stubs his toe or shoots himself in the foot he can never match Hillary’s 40 year history of criminality, cheating, lying, hate for Americans and her world class incompetence.

How can they be so offended by Trump’s minor misdeeds but not Hillary’s major felonious conduct, her underhandedness and her promises to complete Obama’s transformation of America?

To paraphrase Madeleine “Fatso” Albright:

There is a special place in hell for any American who would do anything that allowed Hillary to become president!

It used to be that when someone didn’t read the article, they would be called out and feel embarrassed. Now, rushing to judgment from a headline or a single line from an excerpt is a badge of loyalty and politically-correct political-incorrectness.

Ignorance and boorish behavior is now the pinnacle of good politics and trashing those who have different opinions is legitimate cause for emotional outbursts.

Embracing an invasion of Vandals to counter an invasion by the Visigoths is no way to keep or restore Rome. We must not lose ourselves in the idea that only barbarism can fight barbarism.

Huh, where did I say that..I think your misunderstanding what I wrote..Im writing that the Republican party would be against Ted Cruz if he had received the nomination..that’s the point Im making..Trump, Cruz, it would have been the same no matter who was the nominee, except if the GOP got Kasich or Bush, then the elites would be reacting differently
