Breitbart.com ^ | June 17, 2016 | Neil W. McCabe

Posted on 06/17/2016 2:51:17 PM PDT by Biggirl

The second congressman to endorse Donald J. Trump for president told reporters Thursday that he is no longer commenting on the presumptive nominee and it does not surprise him or bother him that Trump does not meet personally with his congressional supporter. “I am done with trying to articulate or explain or answer for what Donald Trump says,” said Rep. Duncan Hunter (R.-Calif.).

Hunter is ok. It’s the press that has a problem, demanding an explanation, with footnotes, for every single, usually out of context, comment that Trump makes.

I’ve said for years; there are no Democrats, there are no Republicans.
Just REPUBLICRATS, or DEMICANS, whatever you want to call them, the terms are interchangeable.

Yeah I think people are taking it the wrong way, judging by previous posts. He endorsed Trump, wants him to win, so he’s basically saying quit bugging me about every little thing Trump says.

You nailed it. I heard Duncan Hunter address the recent Trump rally in San Diego and he was and remains a strong Trump supporter.

At the end of the hall at the Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington, there is a gray, gun-metal door with a digital combination lock above the knob. If you have sufficient clearance and know the combination, you can open that door, leave the headquarters of the Republican National Committee...

...and enter the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee.

And these Elitist punks are all for the same thing..open borders, Obamacare, letting all these Syrian filth into our country. They really do believe that Muslims will vote Republican, its NOT gonna happen..EVER..Democrats want to turn every single red state into a blue state by putting these roaches all over the map changing the political landscape forever. The Jihadist Orlando killer, his family came as REFUGEES, and it was the son that committed the act..so all of these refugees coming here, it wont be them committing Jihad, it will be their children and it will be non stop

Bump of your post for those not reading past the headline.

"Read the article. This is just an excerpt and it looks like he doesn’t like him. Here are some quotes from DH. To me it looks like the whores in the press are asking DH to justify what DT says. Why the hell doesn’t the whores in the press go ask DT what he means? Stupid press.

“It is not my job to answer for Donald Trump,” he said. “I am not even a surrogate. I am just an endorser.”

“Him talking about things and saying things about things are different from him saying what he is going to do,” he said. “I think he’ll do what he says he’s going to do–I am not trying to parse words–I think he’ll do what he says he’s going to do, but, he says things about things that I don’t endorse and I am not going to try to articulate for him.”

“I think he’ll make a great president,” said the Marine officer and combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. “I think he’ll make good decisions on the economy, on the border, on national security–doesn’t mean I endorse what he says.”

I never imagined that before about the GOP but Im seeing it more and more everyday

It should have been obvious when everyone was just thrilled that Roberts was going to save us from ObamaCare. I said all along that the supremes would not save us because the GOP had been in favor of it all the time they were screaming loudly against it. Now after four spending resolutions we still have no attempt made by the quisling GOP to defund it, how can anyone believe the GOP are not totally in the uniparty?

“”It’s pretty easy to see who read the article and who’s just emitting logorrhea ...””

Well, it’s certainly how I see it. I started reading the replies and had to go back and read the article again to see what so offended them and what I missed. I see nothing Hunter said that is offensive or disagreeable. He’s tired of the press and their stupid questions and that’s pretty much it. How on earth did others see it a different way? Don’t know!!

The thing about Trump, you let ‘Trump be Trump’ and you’ll get along with him fine...he’ll listen to you, then HE decides what he’s going to do, not Paul Ryan, not Newt, not anyone, Trump decides what Trump is going to do...

Has worked in his business, and has knocked out 16 candidates, and will knock out Hillary and Hussein...

GO.TRUMP.GO!!! ALL THE WAY TO THE OVAL OFFICE!!!

Usually by reading only the headline.

He said exactly what he should have said, for it is not his job to interpret what Donald Trump means.

My apologies: it's clear that I grossly misunderstood your comments.

Trump, Cruz, it would have been the same no matter who was the nominee, except if the GOP got Kasich or Bush,

Yes, I agree. The GOPe wanted Jeb or someone like him. Now they're all butthurt.

That is basically what Hunter said, and he is correct. He should not try to interpret what Trump said. Because sometimes Trump says things for affect. It has been his M.O. all along because it keeps them talking about him. Let the surrogates speak for him, if they so chose to do so.
