The US Nazis. They are in every state.
I see a few comments here from people who believe they would react with violence. Having been the parent of child who was kidnapped by DYFS (Division of Youth & Family Services, in NJ), I have a different perspective.
Yes, when it happens to your family, you have all kinds of violent thoughts. But you know that if you act it out, you will be locked up for many years, and not see your child again for a very long time, if ever. So you play by the rules, and pray a lot.
I haven’t read the whole article but...IMO it was quite brave for this girl not to have the child aborted. However, particularly at 14,it’s easy to see how caring for this child would very probably been *very* difficult for her and the baby.Deep resentments...understandable ones...very possibly would have cause *huge* problems.IMO the best solution for both would be for the child to be placed with a healthy, stable family and that the girl be assured that her son/daughter will be loved and well cared for.
Was this a violent rape, or just a situation where the boyfriend is a little older?
Heartbreaking, all of it.
Children are such a precious gift from God, most joyfully when conceived in a loving marriage, but precious gifts in every case.
Yet, some are created out of lust and hate and are then used as tools to further another’s greed and lust for power.
This child is created in the image of God. Love it and bring it up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Watch it grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.
The 14 year old and her siblings are already being raised by their grandparents.
Statistically, a teenaged single mother is nearly guaranteed to have a child raised in poverty and bad life outcomes.
It is better for the child to go to a married two parent family.
“Adoption to a two parent stable home would always be preferable
If this were my daughter I would be fighting tooth and nail to keep my grandchild from being adopted into many of the “two parent stable homes which fit under governments description as such.
In fact, if persons with my moral code wanted to adopt I doubt they would be consided due to intolerance.
BTW: The paternal grandparent of a child taken by DFCS lost her case to adopt her grandchild (she is 67 with a special needs daughter). The adoptive parents are now divorced.
Well I can’t dis agree with you. I do note that there are many paths to adoption not all go through state agencies. Truth is we used to encourage girls to go to Flos have her child and very on with her life. Those were the days when a young girl having an older boyfriend was discouraged.
So glad you are willing to raise someone else’s baby
Thank you.
Mary was married, was in a stable home (not meant as a manger pun), and hadn’t been raped.
This point will likely be unpopular, but a “situation” where 14 year olds are being raped is inherently unsafe, for both this young mother and her baby. The job of CPS is to protect children from serious harm, for example, being raped. Perhaps they should have removed the mother and child together.
Since the grandparents, have been there and done that, where is the problem? While I’ll agree that the majority are better off with 2 parent households, there have nonetheless been exceptions. The bottom line, is we cannot say what is the best. If she were alone with no support system, than I would agree, but that is not the case here.
We do not know how many siblings are in the grandparents care. This young girl was allowed to be around a 19 year old enough to get pregnant....sure a rape was reported but it sounds like statutory.....where were they then?
Moreover what you fail to take into account is that this 14 year old has no job hence food stamps, insurance, section 8 housing vouchers, and all sorts of other taxpayer funded services would automatically kick in for mother and child....even if living with the grandparents.
This story leaves out much. Without knowing more and having a way to actually verify it all I can do is call BS
A couple of internet searches reveal:
and
Now, let me also think back to the source from which I became aware of this.
Several months ago, perhaps 6 months or so, radio talk show host Richie Allen interviewed several guests who described their experiences. One such example was a lady who related her heart-breaking of what happened to her son. She presented a documented history of what happened to her child through the years, as she relentlessly stayed on the trail, and eventually made some pretty awful discoveries.
Please do not reply to me anymore. Thank you.
I have never said that there are only perfect adoption cases out there
We are talking on this thread about the post made about an Alabama girl (maybe) that has no verification , has sketchy information, and lacks certain details.
You can point to richie all you want. That doesn’t make this case the same. It also doesn’t mean we should assume it is the same.
Hide your head in the sand. Believe whatever made up story comes down the pike. It doesn’t change reality
It’s likely they were disturbed by the thought of a child being raised by someone pro-life.
This is my second request. Do not reply to me.
IOW, Bug off.
Continue responding and being rude it brings out the best in all of us
It is so sad to see rude people here. I have asked you to stop and you do not, and project your rudeness on me. What a piece of work. If this is some kind of game you are playing, I will leave you to your antics. Hopefully, you will honor my repeated requests. Otherwise, like a child, you will have your last word.
No, you can't openly go after them. But the ones who GIVE THE ORDERS might have an "accident"...
That’s a gamble that few parents are willing to take.
