They would have had “issues” with THIS grandparent. :)
I have heard that there is collusion between DHR and well-paying pedophile rings. It’s like a farm system for them. Disgusting.
Should the 14 year old have put the baby up for adoption? Yes.
Was Child Protective Services over-reaching to take the baby away from the mother without a due process? Yes.
Will the baby be better off in foster care than with the mother? Not freaking likely.
Lets all send up prayers for this brave young girl!
This is probably punishment for the girl because she refused to kill the baby... I’m serious :-(
Beam me up.
If I was king every single one of these BASTARDS would be doing hard labor for LIFE.
I would guess they asked if they were Christian and/or if they had guns in the home.
I dont see how they can take the child. The child has a parent that is not screwed up, and that young parent has parents at home to help.
Like you have any clue whether or not adoption would be best.
From what I read, the young mother was removed from the home and is with the baby. It appears something is going on in the home where she lives with her grandmother. There’s a lot to this story, but it needs attention.

“If I was king every single one of these BASTARDS would be doing hard labor for LIFE.”
“under the direction of DHR supervisor Ahzshaka Evans, with the approval of 3 Alabaster police officers, led by shift supervisor Officer Edmunson, Detective Raugh, 2 security personnel, and hospital Director of Risk Management/Compliance Ashley Cole-Tyson.”
Awful lot of “horsepower” to deal with a 14 year old girl/mother and a 51 hour old baby.
Or maybe they were all a different type of equine animal.
>> If I was king...
No man needs to be a king.
Saying that is just plain foolish. It may be the best thing to ever happen to her. Life changing? Absolutely, but not necessarily negatively. Her grandparents can offer support. She certainly acted more adult than most much older do today.
BTW, I do agree with your other two assessments.
Except the king.
I think there is something else going on here too. But whatever it is, the baby belongs with his/her mother. If the home situation is unsafe they should be removed together and kept together. The video mentioned a cousin’s baby who was recently taken by DCS.Either there is a family problem or DCS is out of control.
It looks like that Facebook page is full of speculation. I’m glad that the mother is able to be with the child. From what I have heard, it doesn’t take much for CPS to step in. And it takes a whole heck of a lot for them to step out again.
I was always a little fearful of police coming into our house when the kids were little (one time my truck was broken into, another time they were asking about a possible suspect). I had visions of them seeing the house in a clutter and taking the kids “for their safety”.
Reminded me of when Ralph Kramden and his wife wanted to adopt a baby and he was trying to make things just write.
“Say Mr. Kramden - what’s this big pot of boiling water doing on the stove?”
“Well you know - it never hurts to be prepared. In all the movies the first thing the Doc says is ‘go boil up a pot of water’.....”
The plan of God is you be raised by a family not DHS
Oh stop.
For starters this is an unconfirmed story.
Second this is not the baby Jesus.
Third your comment beyond that is hear say and nasty.
Fourth, with out further information (grand parents age, how many other children, etc, etc) it is impossible to pass jusgemwnt on this story
