At least two of several Arizona GOP delegates that have resigned say it's primarily because they refuse to vote for Donald Trump at next month's national convention.

Yeah - we elected as many alternates as delegates in my state, so not a problem. I think there are four states where the delegates are free to vote their conscience on the first ballot - but iirc they are small states and they won’t make a difference at this point.

Former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Frank Riggs and Zuhdi Jasser, a Muslim reform advocate, say they were willing to go if there was a chance of a contested convention.
Jasser says he also takes issue with Trump’s immigration ban specifically targeting Muslims.

The “moderate” Muslims are the ones who cheer violence from the side lines, committed with the more fanatical Muslims. One can not be a good Muslim if he/she will not convert or kill non believers. Therefore “moderate Muslim” is an oxy-moron.
For every Zuhdi Zasser there are 1000 other moderate Muslim leaders who will not speak out against the violent ones.
Why you should believe me? I grew up in a Muslim neighborhood, and my best childhood friends were Muslim kids. I know how they think from first hand experience.

It is not complicated. Trump wants to dismantle the good ole boys club of RINO’s. No one gives up power without a vicious fight. If Trump wins in 2016, Romney/Paul Ryan/Jeb Bush can not run in 2020 and 2024 and even 2028. If Trump loses, those 3 RINO’s can run in 2020.
That is their right. It’s a lot of money and if you don’t want to go, that’s fine. There are plenty alternates that are going to love the chance to vote. The way AZ chose their delegates was interesting and we knew there were a lot of “Cruz” supporters who won. If they are going to be unhappy, I’d rather they not be there, frankly.

Brnovich and Reagan were on all 4 slates st the State Convention. Well, there are a lot of alternates that will be thrilled to take their place.
They were on the Cruz slate. They didn’t lie. At the time of the State Convention, Cruz still had a chance if there was a contested convention.
