Paul Ryan's Treason
Frontpagemag.com ^ | June 21, 2016 | Daniel Greenfield

Posted on 06/21/2016 3:52:41 AM PDT by Biggirl

In an awkward interview with the Huffington Post, House Speaker Paul Ryan threatened to sue Donald Trump if he were to ban Muslim immigration or build a border wall with Mexico. Considering the current track record of suing Obama over abuses of power, this is little more than a confession of impotence. And yet it’s deeply troubling that a top Republican is willing to go to such lengths to fight for Muslim migration or for that matter illegal immigration in general.

Hey Ryan said he would step down as convention chair if Trump asked. Maybe time for Trump to call him on that.

Trump’s message: Controlled borders, improved economy and America First. When he wins on that ticket by a landslide, the folks in DC must get behind him. As a nation we pick our national goals through the President and the pols better get on board with it.

Because Ryan is just another Romney - a useless politician that lies through his teeth to get elected than gets back to Dc and shows his true colors. Tomney supports the precursor RomneyCare to Odumbocare - same assinine failed structure only on a bigger failing scale.

I’f Cruz comes out with a strong endorsement of Trump’

Allow me to propose an alternate ending for this sentence:

If Cruz comes out with a strong endorsement of Trump, he’ll make sure it’s too late to do Trump any good when he actually needed it.

I.e.: if Cruz endorses, it will only be 1, when all else has failed, and 2, long past the time it could actually have helped.

Ryan being interviewed by HuffPo is the point. Nobody held a gun to Ryan’s back and ordered him to seek out the furthest left, most rabidly conservative-hating publication he could find. He voluntarily aided and abetted one of the foremost enemies of conservatism. As Greenfield rightfully says, Ryan is a traitor.

That's why I made it "Ryan and Cruz - they have the same aspirations at the moment

As you point out, Cruz and Trump have for years had the same views on some of the most important issues--He has made several speeches that sound just like what Trumps says.

It seems rash and hyperventilated to make much of your fears about Cruz's "hopes." I supported Cruz during the primaries, but appreciated Trump, whom I now support Trump. As adults, we need to accept that in our system, it's very common that another man will run against our chosen candidate, and that doesn't necessarily make him evil. And I agree that these campaigns are anxious because so much is at stake.

But I think your statements make you sound hysterical.

Well put, Daniel! Ryan didn’t do a thing to stop Obama violating the Constitution and the separation of powers. Yet he will sue a Republican for protecting this country in a lawful way. I never believed Islam is a religion but a government masquerading as a religion. Not allowing anyone in whose belief system is to destroy our government IS perfectly legal. And common sense.

Cruz blaming Trump for the Brussels terrorist attack verges on evil. It certainly wasn’t sane.

Ryan is a disgrace. He is following in the footsteps of Romney Obama, another total disgrace.

Yep, it’s proof that Cruz was a nutball that was embraced by way too many.

Troubling? Yes. Surprising? No. It's what he's being paid to do.

Yes...and cRuz blaming Trump for the Chicago rally violence was beyond insane. Not to mention his pairing with loony Glenn Beck to take a fake ‘oath’. This guys a nutcase, 100%.

If he were truly as smart as his supporters repeatedly claim him to be, he would’ve immediately endorsed Trump, just after exiting/suspending (whatever he did) his campaign. It would’ve gone a long way to help erase the nonsense his campaign pulled in IA and the delegate nonsense.

Paul Ryan is a liberal-tarian democrat.

He is campaigning for Gary Johnson and/or Hillary Clinton.

He cringes at Trump.

He is a traitor.

I couldn’t make it work with tyranny. How’s this:

Ryan and Cruz sitting in a tree,
Doing all they can for Hillary.
First they lie,
Then they cheat,
But in November she gets beat.
