Here in Central California if a Hispanic male comes up to you and asks “which gang do you claim” you have about 10 seconds before you kill him or he kills you. If someone came up to me shouting about ISIS I would give him 5 seconds.

I would not equate “running out os sympathy” with “blaming the victim” but I suppose it is quibbling over subtle distinctions. I would not go into northern Syria without an M1 tank and 999 other M1 tanks accompanied by at least two or three divisions of infantry and total air support. Why would I go into a similar hellhole less equipped? Maybe that’s just me but both places are chock full of folks that absolutely hate us and want to kill us.

I work in a building that houses a program bringing in international students for intensive English language training. At any time, there are probably around fifty 20-30 YO muzzies in the building. SA is a daily thing, since we're a very soft target. I miss the Marine who used to work for me...
