98% of D.C. politicians are now whores. Just plain wrap, generic political whores. They are attempting to sell out America, but they don’t usually do it in broad daylight, because they are not merely whores, they are COWARDS too. Never underestimate these cowards, but don’t make the mistake of reading too much into this anti-Trump propaganda crapola either.

I have a feeling this is coming from one place: Park City, Utah...

Romney just had this week end meeting with Ryan, Graham, and others and it seems like this is some more of that...

Romney is a very envious, jealous individual, he is not a Godly person, as the Mormon Church would have you believe, he is a very Worldly person, money, power, prestige, you name it, he wants it...

He gave up his election in 2012 because he was afraid that people was going to find out about his off shore accounts, where he has millions of dollars; Paul Ryan also has off shore accounts...my understanding of off shore accounts are that you don't have to claim the money so you don't pay taxes on that money, hence denying money owed to America...

We are not allowed to do this, as average American People, we don't make that type of money to begin with, but even if we did, we would get caught...the government knows about these off shore accounts, they just don't want to do anything about it...

Romney is also a wimp...the only way he got to be Governor of MASS was Kennedy...Ted said jump and ‘RAT’ would ask if that was high enough...”RAT” was feeding Ted Kennedy what he needed, it's like: “You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours”...

Glen Beck is another ‘RAT’ puppet, Beck is so stupid he wouldn't know the sound of a train whistle to move off the tracks before the train ran him over...this is why Romney gets him to do his dirty work on his radio program...

Graham is a queer prostitute...he belongs to McCain and always has; McCain is part of the reason for ISIS, remember the pictures of McCain with Bag-daddy??? He's another ‘RAT’...Ryan is a liar, cheat and a thief, and your seeing that more and more everyday...that's the deal that was struck over ‘drunken johnny’ being taken out and RINO RYAN being put in...CYA folks, that's what this government is all about!!!

As far as the article being true, don't believe a word of it..it's all lies and media twit nightmares that try to write things that grab attention...bird cage, fish wrap liner...

Especially the past 25 years. Now left unchecked, it is entering the tertiary stages of treason.

My concern is that the Never Trump movement be stopped before it gains any traction!

The rest of it is immaterial.

The GOPe is dead man walking and just does not realize how dead it really is!

On November 8, 2016 the GOPe will come to understand that they are no longer in control!

I will disagree with you on the importance of the source. I understand and respect your point of view, I just don’t agree it is inconsequential.

By the way, thank you for your service.

The Democrat-Democrat Lite Corrupt Consortium. Start with the Anti-Trumpsters and the Dems floor sitting in the Senate. Scumbags deserve to be outed and punished.

I have no idea how much influence The Horn has in the public square. I had never heard of it, actually, until I received an email containing the article I posted.

I am happy I was able to serve my country for 28.5 years. I’d do it again, under similar circumstances, but if I were of military age today, and knew what I know now, I’d certainly wait until President Trump was in office.

JFK was President when I enlisted (March, 1963) and America was a VERY different place - and we had a draft.

I wanted to be a Navy pilot, specifically, I wanted to fly the A-1 Skyraider. Once I was in flight training, there was no way I was not going to get my Wings of Gold!

So I hung in there through thick and thin - I enjoyed the good years and some good leadership; and endured the bad years and bad leadership. I did the best I could with what I had.

I’d do it all over again, but would wait, as I indicated, for The Donald!

No, I didn’t. VT-30, the Spad training squadron in Corpus Christi was decommissioned in early 1965 when I was about halfway through VT-3. I was devastated, of course! A lot of my buddies just quit the program when that happened; I elected to stay with it. Got my wings in November, 1965 and was ordered to VAW-111 to fly the E-1B “Willy Fudd.”

The best part of all of it was the carrier “work.” In the course of my active duty flying around the boat (1965 - 1973), I accumulated a total of 365 CVLs (103 night) in the left seat and probably 1,000 or so in the right seat as an IP/co-pilot. We multi-engine pukes had to share CVLs with our co-pilot, which cuts the number of CVLs in half.

Landing on an aircraft carrier is the most fun a mortal can have with his clothes on!

I absolutely loved the C-1 as a COD (which the E1B was derived from?) and have always thought “If I could have a recreational plane to fly me and my family and friends around the country...I would love a COD.

If you look at my Freep Page, you can see I was a jet mechanic, and how I loved the sound of those reciprocating engines. The first time I saw a COD take off (1976) from a carrier, it made an impression on me.

As it ran up its engines, the plane almost seemed to crouch and gather itself...almost compressing like a spring, it seemed to me. Then when it released its brakes, it would go forth, and my thought was “Huh. There’s no way that thing is getting in the air!” but it seemed before it even came level with the island, it was already in the air.

They just looked like a wonderful plane to fly...and cool looking to me, too.

As for being the most fun a mortal can have with clothes on...I used to watch the pilots walking down the passageway from the flight deck after landing, and seeing their armpits, backs (and it seemed, crotch) stained slightly darker with sweat, and I thought “Hm...that must be hairy flying!”

I was Hangar Deck Officer in USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) FRom July, 1970 until December, 1972. Naturally, I flew the COD as often as I could! Some of our trips to Thailand FRom the Gulf of Tonkin were VERY memorable!

As for the C-1 being a nifty people carrier, well, you’d best bring a lot of money to the table! The USN was not particularly concerned with fuel/maintenance costs, etc., and they were/are well beyond the means of an ordinary person. HST, there are a couple of C-1s in private hands.

BTW, the Willy Fudd and the C-1 (”Trader”) were developed FRom the Grumman Iron Works S-2 series.

Deck launches are usually “high pucker factor” events for the pilots (and much more comfortable for the pax and crew than a cat shot!) because, typically, unless there is a LOT of wind over the deck, one arrives at the deck edge right at minimum single engine flying speed. Which means, if an engine quits right at that moment, the pilots will be QUITE busy for a while!

HST, the airplane was eminently flyable on one engine — it was much, much better than a Willy Fudd with an engine shut down!

I’ll not deny that ALL carrier “work” is “high pucker factor.” But for me, it was great fun! I enjoyed every CVL I managed to get (I was known as a “Bagger”)! And I always wanted just one more!

Well, fortunately, Inever had that experience for real!

We, of course practiced engine failure procedures often, so the sequence of procedures we had to follow to ensure a favorable outcome (NOT CRASH!) were heavily ingrained into our thick skulls!

I daresay that if I were allowed to fly a C-1, S-2 or E-1B tomorrow, I could recall and execute the engine failure on takeoff procedures safely. And, my last flight in one of those aircraft was in 1974!
