Russian Hackers Believed to Have Breached Clinton Foundation Computers
NBC News ^ | June 22, 2016 | PETE WILLIAMS and KEN DILANIAN

Russian hackers are believed to have breached the computers of the Clinton Foundation — and appear to be the same cyber spies who swiped confidential files from the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton campaigns, officials familiar with the investigation told NBC News.

Three private security firms have concluded the hackers are Russian, and some security experts say Russian intelligence could be behind the attacks and want to interfere in the U.S. presidential election.

So what could be the hackers' end game?

The Democratic National Committee said the operation was part of a Russian disinformation campaign. But some U.S. officials believe the goal is something more menacing: espionage.

Rumor in hacker land is that it didn’t even have the most basic protections and was penetrated by several hackers over an extended time period.

Something tells me all it took to figure that out was examining the IP addresses listed in the system logs and all probably less than an hour yet it takes the FBI months to figure out what many FR’pers her could’ve figured themselves with a lot less time.

You know the MSM is all over Trump about not having anywhere the funding and donations Hillary has the past 48 hours. He should fire back and say, “yeah it’s because I’m not taking donations from our enemies”.

It should be noted that Putin likes Trump. Russians respect strength.

With that duly noted this campaign is going to be SO much fun.

No, I believe today's word is blackmail.

Folks, this alone is reason enough to vote against Clinton. If the Russian government found incriminating evidence on the foundation servers, they would have enormous leverage over Hillary in the Oval Office.

Given the known sketchy behavior of the foundation, it's extremely likely the servers would contain damaging information, even if it wasn't incriminating.

The IP addresses alone are no longer an indication of the source.

Multiple proxy servers are used to chain a connection. The endpoint could be anywhere.

If the Russians want to interfere in the election in favor of Trump then I’m all for it.

So now the Russians have the information to blackmail the Democratic presidential candidate.

I know proxies are used but hackers evenyptually make mistakes. You just create a table of them and look for the anomalies. Usually you will find them after looking for a bit. Serving the foreign companies that host the proxies sometimes works but often not.

Too bad we didn’t have Russian hackers when Whitewater, Rose Law, Cattle gate, and the rest were hot.

Russia plays 3D chess. Trump plays the same game. Russia thinks he can be beaten without a nuke exchange. Russia KNOWS Hillary will just push the button and MAD is on.

Three private security firms have concluded the hackers are Russian...
Did they come to that conclusion, then go back to setting up private servers for gov't officials? Perhaps the same gov't officials who (anonymously) speculate that the supposed Russian hackers are engaged in espionage? See? It wouldn't have mattered if Hillary had not used a gov't server, so, case dismissed!

Russia isn’t going to interfere in our election. But they will have a huge blackmail portfolio to use on Hillary after the inauguration.
