NBC's Steve Kornacki: Amazing How Thin Clinton/Trump Margin Is, Despite Trump's Problems
Real Clear Politics ^ | 06/22/2016 | Tim Hains

MSNBC host Steve Kornacki discusses the latest 2016 election polls showing Clinton and Trump in a dead heat in several key battleground states with the hosts of NBC's Today Show:

"It’s amazing," Kornacki said. "If you take the 2012 electoral map: Obama versus Romney, and kept it the same... If you can flip Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida, you’re the next president. For all of the trouble [Trump has] had, you’ve got them dead even in Ohio and Pennsylvania. [Polls showing him down in] Florida is bad news for him."

"[We just saw several] great weeks for Hillary Clinton, terrible weeks for Donald Trump -- and they look at those polls in those states, how do they explain that?"

"The poll on the economy, Hillary Clinton gave that speech yesterday, the subject is the economy, she’s trying to discredit Trump on the economy," Kornacki said. "And you look up and see that poll saying --on who do you trust more on the economy-- Trump leading Clinton by eight points. They’re aware of the challenge. That’s where the speeches like you saw yesterday from Hillary Clinton are coming from."

The so called Trump’s “problems” are with the elites, the RINOs and the ruling class. Those are all positives for the people that actually vote - the “little people”.

Then he has you fooled. The 4th estate is all-in for Clinton, no matter how ‘surprisingly balanced’ they may seem.
This article is evidence of yet another MSM concern troll showing his colors. Chris Matthews years ago once sailed on a National Review cruise as a “conservative”.
We hates `em, Precious.

Pittsburgh will vote Trump. People here have been waiting to extend their middle finger to free trade since the first mill closures in 1978.

This points to the fact that the Dems also nominated their least popular candidate. If they’d gone with crazy Bernie, they’d be far ahead, but by going with Crooked Hillary, whose unpopularity is just a bit less than Trump’s, it looks set to be a close contest, in spite of Trump’s challenges.

“Then he has you fooled.”

He doesn’t have me fooled. I believe that for us, any time Trump gets a positive from MSNBC is gold for us. Their audience is the same audience that Trump needs to peel off.

A few days ago, during prime time, Chris Matthews gave Trump a boost by talking about who would put in place an infrastructure policy that creates jobs. He was talking about Trump!

You take your wins whenever and wherever you can get them.

Kornacki and his corrupt colleagues think they get to define what is a great week for Hillary and what is a terrible week for Trump and then believe their own press - this is why they have no credibility any longer and I doubt they will ever wake up to that fact.

Trump’s problems? Hillary is barely ahead after outspending him 10 to 1.

That’s Trump’s problem?

Well, all of that may be ... but here he’s saying Trump is “neck-and-neck” with a psychotic, hell-on-wheels, inept, megalomaniacal sadist, and you apparently buy it.

I don’t want to argue with you, noob. Just sayin’—don’t trust anyone in the MSM, especially when they’re stroking you.

If he were to look really closely, he’d see that in fact Trump is likely leading all these polls, and certainly all the “swing state” polls. As a reminder, my analysis of June vs. November polling is here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3440835/posts

and shows massive underestimation of the GOP vote going back to 1952. This is not a small amount: the average UNDERCOUNT of the GOP was 22, the average error in the Dem direction was 13 (the polls were almost always off-—about three times they were close to the June poll in November).

The time for ads is NOT NOW. He's not even the official nominee! Wait until August to begin the battle... Soften the territory now, find where Hillary! is most vulnerable, then plan for the big attacks in August, September, and October - when it matters.

Trump does have a few problems:

1) The liberal media full court anti-Trump press 24/7
2) The GOPe refusing to get out of the way.

” hell-on-wheels, inept, megalomaniacal sadist, and you apparently buy it.” ... “I don’t want to argue with you, noob. Just sayin’—don’t trust anyone in the MSM, especially when they’re stroking you.”

Don’t want to argue, but you call me a noob. Seriously, get over this “noob” crap. I’m not a noob, been around off and on for years. And they are not stroking me, but every now and then they do “spill” the truth; the more the better for our candidate. If you can’t see the difference, get some glasses for your brain.

And I’m not buying anything...You seem to think that if you string together a bunch of bold adjectives, it makes you smart. If you think Steve Kornacki is a psychotic, hell-on-wheels, inept, megalomaniacal sadist, then you have some serious issues. You should be on an FBI no gun list.

I’m just glad you don’t have anything to do with running or deciding anything with the Trump campaign. Idiots like you lose elections.

But we don’t do what the MSM does, right??? Unless, of course someone is voting for Hillary...right???
