Too bad Trump didn't mention William Magear "Boss" Tweed, the most notorious politician in American history--and a Democrat at that, too. What Tweed did between 1853 and 1871 is essentially a writ small version of what the Clintons have done.

I take your point, but I'm willing to bet that only a tiny minority of Americans under age 50 have any idea who Boss Tweed was. So had Trump reached for that comparison, it would likely only have confused the issue.

Agreed. Trump has several strikes against him right now and it is very likely that Hillary will win in November. However, unlike Romney, Trump will go down fighting and in the process air all of the Clinton’s dirty laundry along the way. Probably not enough to make Hillary a lame duck but it might destroy her credibility. It might make her term as President difficult. Heres hoping...

I disagree totally. I'm saying that Trump WILL win, and part of what we can do to make it easier is to give Bernie supporters good, logical reasons to either vote for Trump or stay home.

Don't even think about not winning. The US will not survive if Trump doesn't win.
