Sad..., and disgusting too...
Drugs. Some folks just can’t enjoy life without them.

"If I have to bury him, I'll bury him. That's the fact...So if not, if he calls me and needs help, I'll go get him. Until then, he's on his own. I've done everything I can do. There is nothing [else] I can do as a father. Nothing. ... It is, what it is. He's a druggie and everybody needs to accept it."That is so heart-breaking. Having a loved one get addicted to drugs or alcohol is pure torment and just kills the parents, siblings and children affected by it. I feel so sorry for Mr. Manziel. Thank God he has done all he can possibly do and has now accepted it.

I’ve read that Johnny’s dad was the ‘friend/buddy’ type of parent, during Johnny’s high school days. Allowed drinking/partying, etc. Promoted the ‘live large’ lifestyle.
I wonder how much this contributed to the problem at hand.
Sad. Hope the guy can somehow get clean. Sounds like maybe a crack habit?

Manziel will never play another down in the NFL. It’s just a question of how long he has left until his money runs out, then he joins Marinovich, Leaf, Jamarcus Russell, and all of the others in the Hall of Shame.

He has been another low life loser for years. Never understood why people praised him so much. There are a hundred others waiting to take his place on the field.

What an absolute waste of a great player. I hope he can clean up his life before the drugs eventually take it.

He could try what Carroll O’Conner did with his son. Of course, Mr. O’Conner’s attempt failed but this father could try. There is yet another course of action.

Manziel has taken from dazzling NCAA runs from defenses to now simply RUNNING FROM HIMSELF.
To: Hojczyk
Manziel's father isn't helping him by constantly making statements to the press. He's said that he doesn't expect Manziel to live out the year - how can that possibly help his son? Constantly humiliating an addict to a huge public audience isn't going to encourage them to get help.
Instead of feeding reporters' desire to track his son's slow motion train-wreck of a life, Manziel's father would do far better to get his son into a treatment program. If he can't do that, he can at least shut up and stop airing his son out to the media.

LOL, was he doing drugs when he did his "money" sign in the end zone? Was he doing drugs when his "friend" was selling his autograph?
Personally, I think all the college football talking heads who kissed this guy's ass while he acted like an asshole own a chunk of his life failure.
