Is Paul Nehlen poised to Knock Off Paul Ryan in Wisconsin
crowsnestpolitics.com ^ | 6/25/16 | Ken Crow

Posted on 06/26/2016 6:55:20 AM PDT by cotton1706

I think it is now safe to say that Paul Ryan is no longer a conservative Republican, nor is he pro-American for that matter. Keep in mind that Paul Ryan’s contributions come largely from outside of his own district. Currently some 80% plus of all of Ryan’s contributions to his re-election campaign come from OUTSIDE of his own 1st District of Wisconsin. Stunningly, around 65% of Ryan’s contributions come from WITHIN the beltway of Washington, D.C.

Pondering this statistic, one has to ask themselves, “so who is it that is donating so heavily to Paul Ryan and then why are they donating so heavily“? As my grandfather used to say, if it walks like a duck, looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it ain’t a goose. The bottom line is, Ryan is being “paid off” with large campaign contributions by lobbyist, Super-PAC’s and special interest groups for his support of selling out his own district.

Basically, it works like this. I own a major corporation. I want to increase profits. I spread some “payola” around Capitol Hill, get myself a sweetheart tax deal done with deductions for relocating to “some nation I cannot even pronounce” then relocate. I used to pay $25 an hour labor rate here in Kentucky and Iowa, now I pay $2 a day in Thailand. My profits soar, I get tax deductions and my stockholders are elated. Oh, and I don’t have to pay Obamacare either.

Even if you posted here every day of the week for the last umpteen years that doesn’t change the facts of the content and wording of your comments.

Not to argue, since you seem supportive, but where exactly did I underestimate the bandwagon effect?

This entire site has turned into one giant bandwagon, or maybe a steamroller? Disagree with a Trump supporter on anything or anyone and you’d better get out of the way.

I don’t doubt that Jim’s inbox is being assaulted right now by people who can’t believe I’m still commenting after all their insightful putdowns.

Sanctimonious blather. Ryan is a nobody w/a carrier deck district inversely proportional to the size of his ergo and pretensions. He was well matched w/his tag team schmuck, Willard.

Just how many times will you let a rattlesnake bite you before you believe he might not be helping you out?

Well I would hope not.

Do you actually think I’m going to be shamed into changing what I say , or worse, what I already said, by insults?

Well, duh. Maybe that’s because I’ve never posted an article, which I haven’t.

The comment I was questioning was the one that said I hadn’t posted anything before 2005. That directly implied that I’d never commented until then, which was wrong, but would have been a ridiculous point even if true.

Instead of posing cute, but nonsensical, analogies, why not simply engage in intelligent discussion? Seriously?

Or were you the one with the “alleged mind”? That might explain it.

By the way, I pay very little attention to the name of posters in here (as indicated by the above comment.) I really don’t base my comments on whether someone appears to be supportive or not, but on whether they have something to discuss.

Put another way, if Trump says something I find I disagree with I say so, rather than trying to rationalize it away. (You all know who you are...)

You are a Cruzbot and a nevertrumper. We’ve had enough rational discussion with those types, who are all working for Hillary at this point. Why don’t you just write your opus and be done with it?

That is an interesting question and deserves an answer.

LOL! You know posting history shows comments as well as articles. The fact that your signup date is 1998 and you have zero comments until 2005, and hardly any until 2007, has nothing to do with posting articles.

You know that.

Your posting history is available for anyone who wants to see. You did not start posting until 2005, which is several years after your signup date, and hardly anything until 2007.

Just not the SOP for almost all freepers.

And I am not trying to shame you into changing your comments, just pointing out some facts for others to see.

How is pointing out facts insulting you?

Oh, I get it! Maybe you have/had another screen name and posted under that one before 2005, and forgot which one you were using?

Um....Wisconsin adopted Common Core under Jim Doyle, but I don’t think school districts use it, nor are they required to....just sayin

Check that...I’m sure The People’s Republic of Madison uses common core, but I don’t think places like Mequon do. Regardless, when Walker killed the teachers unions, that was a much more important thing. Time will, tell on common core. It costs money to kill it.

The use of analogies is a well known mark of higher reasoning.

The fact that you can’t understand analogies shows me that you aren’t ready for any “intelligent discussion”.

Yes, “be done with it.” That’s your answer isn’t it? Just tell people you disagree with to leave you alone so you don’t have to have your mind troubled by opposing thoughts.

I’m not clear why you’re obsessing over my comment history. (I’ve already said that my post history is zero because I’ve never posted an article here.)

I can, however, clearly recall discussing Bill Clinton in here during his presidency if that is of any help to you. Or you can just keep repeating your search results if that makes you somehow feel superior. I couldn’t care less.
