A baby has been born in Florida with defects caused by the Zika virus after its mother traveled to the U.S. from Haiti to give birth. The mother - who has not been identified - contracted Zika abroad before entering the country, officials said. The child was born with microcephaly, a condition that causes babies to be born with shrunken heads and often leads to developmental issues. The baby is the fourth child to be born in the U.S. with defects caused by Zika after their mothers contracted the incurable virus while abroad.

I an da$n tired of illegals coming here and getting benefits while my Navy vet husband is still fighting the VA over his mesothelioma disability—which was a result of being exposed to asbestos while serving in the Navy—2 of his shipmates have died from this terrible disease, and he lived in navy housing which had asbestos all over it. Even the da$n VA regs say it’s a 100% disability condition that doesn’t exhibit signs for at least 20 years in the victim. Grrrrrrrrr! Enough of this compassion for illegals—take care of our own veterans for Heaven’s sake! I’m sure I’m gonna have a stroke or a migraine over all of this....

Appreciate it, thanks! Trying hard to let go and let God handle it—my husband has done everything he can and is now just waiting for DRO review. In the meantime he has had two major surgeries ( abdomen and chest), numerous times fluid being drained out of his lungs, chemo therapy, trial drugs, immunotherapy...every day he is alive is a gift—he is alive well past the initial “terminal estimate” they gave him. His faith, natural optimism, and very sassy humor keeps him going. We are blessed beyond measure with wonderful medical folks, family, friends, neighbors who constantly lift us up and remind us there are good things and people in this world. They all know I get my rant on whenever the VA can be blasted. My calmer husband just quietly holds my hand and says it will be ok. Sigh. Thanks for letting me vent. I know God is in charge, but I still get angry!
Yep 2 weeks ago one born in NY came here also to give birth!!! How in the HELL are these women allowed to fly in their 8th month, this of course is NOW all taxpayer expense medical for babies!!!!
Do we have to have every single Zika infected pregnant woman come over here to give birth and burden us with yet another anchor baby?
