Has the Left Been Trumped?
Accuracy in Academia ^ | June 29, 2016 | Emily Hughes

Regular Republicans may still be skittish about him but even their most eloquent and articulate critics on the left are hard put to make a coherent case against the presumptive Republican candidate for president.

This was evident at Accuracy in Academia’s second authors’ night in June with John Wilson. Refusing to directly answer questions, Wilson remained vague and contradictive throughout the interview that followed his presentation. Wilson, who only recently decided to write a book about Donald Trump, had conflicting views on "The Donald."

As to his sources, Wilson stated that "there's just so much (information) about Donald Trump, all kinds of news outlets as well as Donald Trump himself who has an endless stream of tweets and interviews." While he has no plan to speak with his subject, Wilson seemed confident in his sources providing enough information to write his book.

As with many people, Wilson stated that "Ranging from his personality to his bigotry in many cases, his vindictiveness, and in some ways his intellectual laziness and that he doesn’t like to think deeply about where he stands on a lot of issues … there are an enormous number of negatives about Donald Trump." Although Wilson made a note of "his bigotry in many cases," he only mentioned one, that of the judge presiding over the Trump University court case.

While many voters would agree with him, Wilson contradicted himself later saying, "I like his personality in the sense that he’s someone who is willing to speak out, he's not a scripted politician, reading off the teleprompter, giving the same speech over and over again. In some ways I hope that continues. I think it would be a shame if becoming a serious presidential candidate took the Trump out of Donald Trump."

When asked who he would vote for if not Trump, Wilson replied as most left leaning people do, "Liberals end up having to reluctantly say that it's going to be Hillary Clinton. I think that that’s the most common response and it most likely will be my response." He does believe the former Secretary of State has received unfair news coverage of her e-mail scandals, but provided no examples of this alleged media overload.

If you do not agree with the left this is what they think of you.

"Ranging from his personality to his bigotry in many cases, his vindictiveness, and in some ways his intellectual laziness and that he doesn’t like to think deeply about where he stands on a lot of issues

The left has verged into fascism on the road to a globalist one world communist state.

Absolutley.

Mark Cuban was on Megyn Kelly last night. He said Trump has no specific policies and he is voting for Hillary. Sheesh the guy is clueless.

The only “bigotry” the author could find is the example of Trump’s objection to the Mexican-American judge’s failure to recuse himself when the judge is a YUUUGE supporter of the reconquista and La Raza.

I saw a poll this morning that has Trump with 33% of the Hispanic vote...that’s better than Romney or McCain.

White liberals are gonna have to throw their racist poop much harder at Trump if they expect to beat him.

We like to complain about corrupt officials, but our problem goes deeper. A corrupt citizenry can’t discern the difference between immoral and moral, open criminality versus the normal human mix of flaws and virtue, the absolute wrong direction versus a dramatic turn toward the right direction.

You can investigate Trump’s finances without being tossed out a 23rd story window. How quickly people forget the Clinton years.

And if he sends you into a battle, he isn’t going to leave you hanging there to die without moving heaven and earth to come to your aid. He isn’t going to toss an innocent man in jail for a year while the guilty one gives interviews two blocks from where you died.

Scandalous! Trump dislikes illegal alien anchor baby, biased, politically influenced, anti-U.S. Citizen, hack judges.

Ain’t it a shame?!/Sarc.

"Ranging from his personality to his bigotry in many cases, his vindictiveness, and in some ways his intellectual laziness and that he doesn’t like to think deeply about where he stands..."

Yep. That's why all the deep-thinkers turn to the deepest-thinking candidate, Hitlary RodHAM Clinton. Her thoughts reach to the very pit of Hell and back again. She's a well-studied disciple of the father of lies, as all truly deep liars must be.

Bigotry is not always a bad thing.
Sometimes it’s necessary.

As an old guy out here in Flyover County, one of the people that really don’t matter to the Washingtonians that rule us, my only advice to Mr. Trump is the famous words of Lady Thatcher;
“Don’t go squishy on us”.

Reminds me of Kitty Kelley and her "biographies".

Calling Trump silly names, because he is willing to talk about subjects that the nerds in politics can only avoid, is what the Left is reduced to. The over-riding issue--which should be hammered home at every opportunity to confront any anti-Trump voice--is whether they are willing to put America & the Americans first.

Keep that question in the forefront, because that is clearly what the Constitution demands of any Federal Office holder. And those opposing Trump have generally compromised their patriotism in internationalist pursuits--hence are vulnerable.

See The Issue.

The power of Free Sh*t is strong. Hillary is going to respond with a populist assault of her own. That’s why the Fake Indian is out on the campaign with her (and most likely is slated to be VP).

Look for the Dems to roll out the following in the coming months.

- Hillary will have a change of heart and fully embrace Bernie’s “free” college and loan forgiveness scam.

- They will propose slapping a Tobin Tax on Wall Street and using the proceeds to boost monthly SS checks.

- They’ll be out there promising televised public floggings of bankers.

Half this country votes based on freebies.
