Donald Trump held a campaign rally in Bangor Maine yesterday. For some odd reason the U.S. national media didnt quite share the scope of the support he found there...

Remember, once it can be proven who these people voted for, they will be TOAST.
Voting for Hillary will be such a betrayal, none of us will ever hear from these people again. Since they’re willing to take the risk, let them.
That, plus the fact that Hillary will energize the "against" voters to turn out like never before.
More Democrats will vote for Trump.
One thing we do know is that you can’t trust the Mainstream Media polls. They may be showing their pick Hilary as leading Trump at the moment, but they got it completely wrong on the last two referedums here in the U.K.
It was predicted that Scotland would vote to split from the U.K. and Britain would vote to remain part of the E.U. (their preferred outcomes). They got both WRONG!
of course, then there’s factoring in those who don’t ‘follow’ on social media - I’d say quite a large group itself just by the anecdotal posts on this thread.
Minor correction: if Trump carries CD2 but Hillary carries CD1 and get more votes then he does, Trump would get one electoral vote.
The United States Electoral College is the institution that elects the President and Vice President of the United States every four years. Citizens of the United States do not directly elect the president or the vice president; instead, these voters directly elect designated intermediaries called “electors,” who almost always have pledged to vote for particular presidential and vice presidential candidates (though unpledged electors are possible) and who are themselves selected according to the particular laws of each state. Electors are apportioned to each of the 50 states as well as to the District of Columbia (also known as Washington, D.C.). The number of electors in each state is equal to the number of members of Congress to which the state is entitled,[1] while the Twenty-third Amendment grants the District of Columbia the same number of electors as the least populous state, currently three. Therefore, there are currently 538 electors, corresponding to the 435 Representatives and 100 Senators, plus the three additional electors from the District of Columbia. The Constitution bars any federal official, elected or appointed, from being an elector.
Except for the electors in Maine and Nebraska, electors are elected on a “winner-take-all” basis.[2] That is, all electors pledged to the presidential candidate who wins the most votes in a state become electors for that state. Maine and Nebraska use the “congressional district method”, selecting one elector within each congressional district by popular vote and selecting the remaining two electors by a statewide popular vote.[3] Although no elector is required by federal law to honor a pledge, there have been very few occasions when an elector voted contrary to a pledge.[4][5] The Twelfth Amendment, in specifying how a president and vice president are elected, requires each elector to cast one vote for president and another vote for vice president.
The candidate who receives an absolute majority of electoral votes (currently 270) for the office of president or of vice president is elected to that office. The Twelfth Amendment provides for what happens if the Electoral College fails to elect a president or vice president. If no candidate receives a majority for president, then the House of Representatives will select the president, with each state delegation (instead of each representative) having only one vote. If no candidate receives a majority for vice president, then the Senate will select the vice president, with each senator having one vote. On four occasions, most recently in 2000, the Electoral College system has resulted in the election of a candidate who did not receive the most popular votes in the election. depressing.
cute reply
Somalis are an ethnic group in Maine. As of 2013, there were around 10,000 Somalis in Lewiston and Portland
Interesting that he goes their for 2 electoral votes and McCain walked away from Michigan. Trump is a scrapper, he wants every EV he can snag. Now, can we get him to Michigan, North and North East of the Detroit Metro area is a lot like Maine especially the UP in many ways ( although parts of MI are not visually not as stunning at times ). Natural market for him, I am waiting for him to make a bid here.
So how much of this Bangor Trip was also to get the Boston Media Market to cover it so that he can make Kim Jong Shrill spend more dollars trying to salvage a win in Massachusetts?
Yes, please post that Hannity thing. In the meantime, we’ll assume the official delegate count which shows Sanders losing in both delegates and super delegates is correct.
Hmmm.... Obama got a lot of people on the dole in NC if my memory is correct and this tells me they have no enthusiasm for her and need to shore it up. Add to the fact that Trump might pick Senator Richard Burr from NC and you might garner they are on Defense, not Offense...
Obama drew huge crowds wherever he went, larger than Romney.
Ok, where and what are the models that drive that bar graph over at Conservative Tree House? I looked and couldn’t find it....
There are countless anecdotal examples of this kind of thing happening all over the Country.
The question is, how big is a bunch???
I’m a Trump supporter, but he lost the primary in ME to Ted Cruz. He even had the governor introduce him.
How do you get Trump at 20m followers?
We have 1.3 million and enough land to be comfortable. We are able to walk around with firearms strapped to our sides and also concealed with no problems. Also take a look at the demographics and the turnout is easily explained. Alot of people refer to maine as God’s country...go figure?
The ammunition is prayer. The prayers of the righteous help a lot. Pray, contribute, vote.
