“To be clear this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions but that’s not what we’re deciding here. “

Well, he’s right. The American people cannot shirk their duties as citizens or defer their duties to any branch of the government. If 51% of he electorate makes a stupid choice, we are all stuck with it. Relying on the decision being “unconstitutional” is a slim hope under the best of circumstances because it was never intended to be the standard remedy. It’s the way our country was set up. If you want something else...well, trust me. You don’t want something else.

A simple Google search turned up these rules — recommended reading for everyone — read it in full at the link, but the excerpt below will give you the general idea:

Handling Classified Information

http://www.dhra.mil/perserec/osg/s1class/handling.htm

As an approved custodian or user of classified information, you are personally responsible for the protection and control of this information. You must safeguard this information at all times to prevent loss or compromise and unauthorized disclosure, dissemination, or duplication. Unauthorized disclosure of classified material is punishable under the Federal Criminal Statutes or organizational policies.

Your security officer or supervisor will brief you on the specific rules for handling classified information that apply to your organization. Here are some standard procedures that apply to everyone.

“Comey and Lynch didn’t want to be found in Fort Marcy Park dead of apparent suicide.”

You nailed it!

Wondering if the Senate and or the House can appoint a special prosecutor?

I've never heard of such nonsense. Comey lays out all the illegality, then turns around and pulls the hook out of her mouth.

Wow! Just plain damn wow!

>>HOW DO WE GO ON FROM HERE?<<

My first thought is to prepare for hardship as this country just took a turn for the worse. The “rule of law” just disintegrated.

>>...looks like i will need them soon!<<

Yes sir, I think you're spot on. This country is breaking down and will accelerate now that we know for certain this government is NOT for the people.

Pretty troubling when the IRS, BATF, OSHA, EPA can be used as a weapon to intimidate citizens and alter the outcome of an American election. Border/immigration laws all but ignored, Feds releasing into society criminal illegals that go on to murder, rape, maim American citizens. Foreign $$cash$$ pouring into our political process/elections. Law enforcement across this land, arming up with military equipment. Federal departments from EPA to FDA purchasing millions of rounds of ammo/rifles, shotguns, sidearms. NSA, FBI, DHS spying on American citizen's emails, URL’s, Credit card purchases, phone calls.

This isn't America...this is akin to the old Soviet Union or some sort of banana republic dictatorship where a few rule over the masses. Today's announcement by the FBI director just solidified this in my mind.

A year ago, a Folsom Naval Reservist was Sentenced After Pleading Guilty to what Crooked Clinton walked away from, see comments above from Comey.

SACRAMENTO, CA—Bryan H. Nishimura, 50, of Folsom, pleaded guilty today to unauthorized removal and retention of classified materials.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Kendall J. Newman immediately sentenced Nishimura to two years of probation, a $7,500 fine, and forfeiture of personal media containing classified materials. Nishimura was further ordered to surrender any currently held security clearance and to never again seek such a clearance.

Nishimura was a Naval reservist deployed in Afghanistan in 2007 and 2008. In his role as a Regional Engineer for the U.S. military in Afghanistan, Nishimura had access to classified briefings and digital records that could only be retained and viewed on authorized government computers.

Nishimura, however, caused the materials to be downloaded and stored on his personal, unclassified electronic devices and storage media. He carried such classified materials on his unauthorized media when he traveled off-base in Afghanistan and, ultimately, carried those materials back to the United States at the end of his deployment.

In the United States, Nishimura continued to maintain the information on unclassified systems in unauthorized locations, and copied the materials onto at least one additional unauthorized and unclassified system.

Nishimura’s actions came to light in early 2012, when he admitted to Naval personnel that he had handled classified materials inappropriately. Nishimura later admitted that, , he destroyed a large quantity of classified materials he had maintained in his home. Despite that, when the Federal Bureau of Investigation searched Nishimura’s home in May 2012, agents recovered numerous classified materials in digital and hard copy forms.

The investigation did not reveal evidence that Nishimura intended to distribute classified information to unauthorized personnel.

This case was the product of an investigation by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant United States Attorney Jean M. Hobler prosecuted the case.

The investigation did not reveal evidence that Nishimura
(intended to distribute classified information to unauthorized personnel.) So Nishimura’s lawyers will be going to a federal court to get his sentence reversed and multi million $’s in damages due to this abortion of justice for Clinton.

A person would face sanctions. It’s lucky for Hillary that she’s really a Martian.

HINT: They don’t CARE whether or not we have confidence in them, as long as their gravy train isn’t disrupted.

I’m wondering if Obama didn’t tell Comey, go ahead recommend an indictment but know that will lead to me. And if they come after me it will be civil war, black against white, left against right.

Would explain his “reasonable prosecutor” remark.

The worst of it all isn’t even that she flaunts the law once again in her life.

The worst of it is that if she becomes president, there is no law anywhere that binds her from anything she wishes to do. Her power is as absolute as the Kings whose word itself was the law. She will be our absolute tyrant with no limits whatsoever.

Bill met with Lynch. On Saturday the FBI interviewed Hillary. On the first day back at work after the holiday the FBI announces Hillary won’t be prosecuted.

Is Comey saying they didn’t make their final decision until they talked to Hillary? I’m not buying it. And neither is anyone else. But they’ll get away with it.

Comey’s boss told him she would not prosecute after she talked to Bill. Anyone here who thought the Clintons had lost their power when Obama won now know the Clintons never lose their power.

Betting Comey resigns before the month is out. Any takers?

I'd take that bet. Comey isn't going to resign in protest over his own report. What would really raise eyebrows would be if a couple dozen FBI agents and investigators, and maybe some Justice Dept careerists, resigned all at once.
