I agree. I think it’s a meaningless gesture in terms of the effect that it has on Hitlery. And I agree he gets no credit. Too little, too late. Still, I’m glad he did it. The tiny positive effect is that for the small number of people who see this but aren’t already well-informed about Hitlery’s criminality, it sends the message that not being charged with a crime does not mean she is trustworthy.
