I believe this was coordinated with BLM. Why? The demonstration was organized 24 hours ago with the group being authorized and protected by the police. The route of the demonstration was established between BLM and the police. The shooter(s) were in place at the end of the route. The shooter(s) had to know this beforehand to be in place.
Will we be informed by the authorities what really went down or is this going to be covered up like so many other instances?

I honestly doubt that this is an organized Black group. This attack actually undermines their cause and creates sympathy for the police.
The BLM types are political opportunists. More reactive than proactive.
This feels akin to a military operation. The target may have been a target of opportunity, but the execution shows tactical planning and teamwork.
While white or black supremacist groups are possibly responsible, I find it unlikely. They are mostly talk, not action. An white or Aryan nation type group would lean toward shooting demonstrators, not just cops. Black militants could be responsible, but no group of that type has shown itself capable of this level of sophistication.
Both DAESH/ISIL/ISIS and Al Qaeda each have the training and ability to conduct this type of attack.
MS-13 and the Mexican cartels have the capability as well, but I don’t see what benefit they would get from doing this.
