Donald J. Trump Statement

Last night’s horrific execution-style shootings of 12 Dallas law enforcement officers – five of whom were killed and seven wounded - is an attack on our country. It is a coordinated, premeditated assault on the men and women who keep us safe.

We must restore law and order. We must restore the confidence of our people to be safe and secure in their homes and on the street.

The senseless, tragic deaths of two motorists in Louisiana and Minnesota reminds us how much more needs to be done.

This morning I offer my thoughts and prayers for all of the victims’ families, and we pray for our brave police officers and first responders who risk their lives to protect us every single day.

Our nation has become too divided. Too many Americans feel like they’ve lost hope. Crime is harming too many citizens. Racial tensions have gotten worse, not better. This isn’t the American Dream we all want for our children.

This is a time, perhaps more than ever, for strong leadership, love and compassion. We will pull through these tragedies.

With Obama in power, those who sign that petition will be named terrorists.

I just watched (TIVO) an episode of COPS where cops pulled over a suspect vehicle possibly stolen at gunpoint.

There was doubt as to whether or not this actually was the right vehicle.

First officer walks up to the driver window stopping at the window post, his hand on his holstered weapon. The driver could not see the officers readiness. He engaged the driver as if a normal traffic stop.

At the same time, another officer walked up the passenger side of the vehicle gun drawn pointed at the occupants.

First officer was alerted (may have seen the weapon), pulls his weapon, full on to the occupants and shouts commands, hands up! Don’t move!, Keep those hands in the air!

At this point, ANY “perceived” threatening movements would have ended with the two officers unloading on these occupants. I really doubt these perps had any clue just how close to being killed they really were. ONE WRONG MOVE and game on!

The situation in Minnesota could have been similar if the officer became aware of the presence of a gun and the driver “reached”, regardless of “what” he reached for.

Should you be afraid of the police, they are afraid of you! Certainly concerned and the police are at least wary.
The situation can change in an instant.

But, I didn’t do anything. The cops don’t know that. Your vehicle could be a close match to a vehicle just involved in a shooting of a police officer. You just don’t know. Be cautious.

As it turns out this was the right suspects and vehicle, although the circumstances of the supposed theft were in question, off to jail they went.

More blood on the hands of Obama. He is the reason for the lawlessness, violence and murder. He promotes, coddles, supports Islamic terrorists and Black Thugs. He weakens, neuters and dismantles our military and police.

Yes, Obama has the blood of innocent people on his hands. He could use the power of our military and our police to maintain law and order here and abroad, but he choses to not do so.

Obama’s sympathies clearly lie with despicable murdering Islamic terrorists and Black racist thugs.

President Obama is a disgusting POS. Entrusted with the power and prestige of the greatest engine of human liberation ever created called America, he has spit, crapped and urinated upon its legacy.

May he and his family reap the vile pestilence he has sown.

There are conflicting stories about that. Smart people wait for facts.

Are there? I haven't read any dispute about that. How about some cites?

There's also no dispute that the officer was afraid the victim was reaching for a gun, as there he is on video immediately afterwards saying so.

I encountered something curious... Look at this URL (the actual string):

http://www.twincities.com/2016/07/07/questions-raised-previously-about-st-anthony-police-encounters-with-permit-to-carry-holders/

But, it loads a page with a completely different title: Police shooting of gun permit holder concerns others who legally carry. And there's nothing in the article that would justify that URL. It makes me wonder if the original article was replaced.

Racism is certainly more prevalent than ever thanks to Obama and the democrats...and the cowardly rinos who are afraid to say anything against the first black president.
Actually, he’s only half black. If he was 100% black the republicans probably would have just all gone home.

There are also way too many cops who are on power trips. I met one a while back who was ranting and raving over having to wear a body camera.

Trump hit both points.

TBH, Trump needs to pay a bit more attention to PC during the GE, not to the degree of blindness we see from current pols, but he says crap that buys 1 vote at the cost of 2 all the time. It is frustrating.

I talked to the officer that patrols our neighborhood about his. He likes it.

He said that it has been used several times to invalidate complaints. He also mentioned something interesting: the people that rant and rave during a traffic stop are never a problem -- apparently they just want to vent.

The complaints come from people that are cordial and polite, then conjure up a fictional conflict afterwards.

Hillary Clinton is simply incapable of dealing with this antagonism that she and Obama have sown. She is not a leader. She is a manipulator: primarily by means of lies.

Obama’s regime has been a disaster in terms of growth in unity and common purpose.

Do not believe he would not declare martial law. Always believe something such as Dallas could be the type of crisis he would look for.

Obama and his ignorant punk followers want to blame all cops for a couple of shootings, while at the same scold us not to blame all muslims when they kill innocent Americans.

Nidal Hassan murdered 14 unarmed people on Ft. Hood.

Any cop ranting about having to wear a body camera is unhinged in my opinion and should immediately have his gun and badge taken from him and be sent to the shrink.

no straw man. Not if you live in reality. Trump and Clinton are the nominees, a vote third party is a vote from Trump aiding Clinton. If you feel otherwise that’s your choice, but it’s people like you who stand a chance of putting that woman in office and making her my son’s Commander In Chief.

So, if a person writes in their spouse, is that a vote for Trump, or Hillary - or is it a vote for their spouse?

It was senseless. THe one in LA wouldn’t have happened if the guy killed had any sense. Not sure about the one in MN.
