Vanity: The Issues Plaguing African-Americans Today
self | self

The Black Lives Matter movement is nothing less than a so-called movement stirring stuff up. Sure, the police forces might have a few bad apples, but aren't these people supposed to be all for due process? Someone takes a video or something, but without the full story/context, and immediately, the cops are guilty?

I think not.

One of the problems the black community has today is the much higher rate of crime among blacks compared to other groups, Hispanics included. Lower school graduation rates, low college attendance, and even lower majoring in USEFUL majors among blacks who get to college. Why is the nuclear family such a distant concept for so many young black kids (as in their pappies left before they were born)?

Jim Crow is over, a Democrat invention. Slavery is long over, a Republican achievement. Clearly, this is a problem of behavior.

Sure, there might be some bad apples among the millions of honorable cops; but the message, from people like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and guilty liberal enablers like DiBlasio, feeds this problem. People like them, and other parents of young blacks should be teaching their kids to respect and honour the institution of the police, not to be automatically suspicious of them. Such an attitude from the likes of the race pimps only teaches a disrespect for the law. "F**k tha Police?" Uhhh those police keep blacks safer than they would've been without police.

Are there some whites who don't treat blacks with respect? Absolutely. Of course, walking with pants where they should be, and not wearing a stupid amount of chains might help tho with regard to looking respectable. And stop wearing hoodies even when its not raining; you look like you're trying to conceal yourself, but then wonder why people get suspicious.

One of the tragedies about Bill Cosby getting accused is that he was one of the rare voices of reason among politically prominent blacks regarding young African-American behavior. I'm starting to think the reason the accusations popped up was they BLM thought he might torpedo them, and that whiny feminists would immediately toss Cosby aside because of so-called "rape culture."

This is the 800 gorilla in the room. The silent majority is sick of it all being whitey's fault.

You are correct. The "let's pretend" narrative of intellectual interchangeability is something adopted by Leftist academics, seeking to promote a foundation for some form of world government. It is not a narrative that benefits any of us--not anyone of any lineage--as it denies what makes each unique, and hence denies the unique building blocks, both of individual & group progress.

For understanding the promoters of those Academic Myths, see Myths & Myth Makers.

This “ineffectual” group of yours is destroying Western Civilization.

By “Marxists” I was referring to 90% of university faculty, 90% of lamestream media, 90% of clergy (especially mainline Protestants, Catholic bishops, and the Pope), 90% of government school teachers, and 100% of Democrats and 50% of Republicans.

The people you are referring to are ‘way above the median in IQ. They are the ones who had the get-up-and-go to get up and go.

Look up the channel of Stefan Molyneux on YouTube. He interviews scholars and gives links to the sources.

y/probably) bad shootings, led by our President and BLM types, will lead to more black fellow citizens losing their lives as cops back off on policing their neighborhoods. For some reason, blacks killing innocent blacks is not an issue, but non-blacks (not necessarily white) killing blacks is an unspeakable horror. I do not think this will end well—for anyone.

So well said.

We need a President who stands up and tells us,
“America was great because it was good. The goodness, the kindness of our people knew no bounds. Everyone all over the world talked about the decent behavior we have here, even for our criminals, and they wanted to be a part of this life where decency rules.

“For far too long, we have lost bit by bit of our decency. We have seen our public figures, our country’s leaders, be shady and corrupt. We’ve stopped insisting on politeness from our youth. We’ve lost a lot of our goodness.

“In my tenure as leader, I want to help us gain the strong, upbeat civilization that we, and the rest of the world, loved. Don’t think about the wrongs done to you and respond to the world in a rough, aggressive, selfish manner. Care enough about this country to treat everyone you come in contact with today with kindness. Even the people you don’t see, like the person who comes to the park after you, who wants to see grass and not your used soda cup or gum wrapper.

“Sure, there are hard times. But it doesn’t make times better to punish your fellow Americans. If you are a cop, stop people and treat them as fairly as you would your grandmother. If you are a teenager, look the salesclerk in the eye, wish him a nice day. If we returned to a civilization that is basically kind and unselfish, the moody, nasty people will stand out and be forced to change.

“This seems like a small ripple in a yuge pond, but if all of us make the effort to be fair and kind in all our dealings, it makes America great again.”

Yup. Record turnout this year at the conference.

I never heard of Jared Taylor before this year. I have probably listened to every youtube and interview by him.

Probably many more just like me.

If that was the intended goal of the "social engineers", good job. Mission accomplished. Because I believed all the BS up to that point--despite what my lying eyes were telling me. Now I know.

I get that and agree.

It’s the wanna be violent activist groups that are or have been ineffectual.

I suppose what I’m saying is that they don’t really have any leaders.
