The Curious Case of Philando Castile – Falcon Heights, MN Police Shooting… (He was Crips Gang)
Conservative Treehouse ^ | July 8, 2016 | Sundance

Posted on 07/08/2016 8:27:05 AM PDT by BAW

By now everyone is aware of the officer involved shooting of Philando Castile that became a viral BLM activist case as a direct result of his girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds (aka Lavish Reynolds) live-streaming the aftermath from their vehicle.

During the uploaded video narration Ms. Reynolds stated the police officer pulled them over for a broken tail light.

There are several aspects of the narrative as told that didn’t pass the sniff test, however, something about the “tail light” just didn’t seem to make sense. Especially when you consider it was daylight when they were pulled over; and where –in the aftermath media video– it can be noted the tail lights were operable.

Upon further evaluation of the entire set of circumstances, something is missing.

Was there another reason why the police officer would pull them over?

The shooting took place, late afternoon/early evening Wednesday July 6th. [ Remember that, and stay with me ].

The people at GotNews chased down the social media profiles of Diamond and Philando, and unfortunately a familiar set of social behaviors surfaces.

Yes, Philando Castile was a gang member (crips), frequently picturing himself with firearms, cash, drugs and gang signs; and Ms. Diamond also has a colorfully broadcasted social presence

There was a robbery a few days earlier, and he looks somewhat like one of the suspects caught on camera. That’s what the article says.

>>> Did the deceased have a CCW permit as claimed?

How did a person with his past history get a CCW like any other law-abiding citizens?

Not that I am against CCW, but even thugs need CCW protection, REALLY?

Police sometimes break out the tailight of a suspect in drug dealing or other felony cases so they can make a stop of a car carrying the suspect.

Street policing at its best.[sarcasm/]

Nobody ever said he had a CCW

It has indeed been reported, by several sources. It was reported that he told the policeman who stopped him that he had a gun in his possession and that he also was the holder of a concealed carry permit. In the linked article the uncle even makes mention of it.

From what I’ve read, the police suspected (by similarity of appearance) they may have had a person who had perpetrated an armed robbery. The “stopped for a broken tailight” and “he has a CCW” assertions come from the girlfriend.

“Did the person draw their firearm? Was the firearm pointed towards the officer? Pretty sure those are the key questions. If the answers to both of those questions is no, or I don’t know, then there was no reason for that officer to pull that trigger”.

Those details are the important ones and I agree with you also the man in question did let the officer know he had a weapon to be fair about it.

That was the reason for the question. I’m sure somewhere along the way I heard that he told the cop his was carrying and had a permit. Haven’t seen or heard of a confirmation or denial of that.

His past criminal history (which IS public information, unlike a CHL/CCW) doesn't didn't disqualify him.

He was arrested for marijuana possession, but charges were dismissed. Everything else were traffic offenses, like no seat belt, no insurance, no muffler.

He worked in a St. Paul school, which would have required a background check as well.

This totally exonerates the office in my view. I came with an open mind. The Crips should actually be designated a terrorist organization and destroyed with drones.
It is my opinion that any stop must be predicated on a violation. The upper real right tail light is burned out but I do think that was sufficient for the stop to check this guy out . As the officer makes inquiry , the perp yells “I’ve got a gun” You NEVER DO THAT if you have a CCP. You are trained to hand the office your license immediately and keep you hands so they can be seen. The officer will say’ Do you have a firearm with you?” You respond “yes” . YOU DO NOT REACH FOR THAT GUN!! You point to its location and the office will take it for inspection or instruct you what to do.
We have a clear compelling defense for this office who will be easily acquitted just like the Ferguson officer Darron Wilson , George Zimmerman even after obama fanned the flames of the bklacks with” If I had a son” I would want him to be like this thug. And then we have 100% acquittal in Baltimore of that thug that bashed his own brains out in the back of the van. You would think at some point these protesters would see a pattern here and settle down but they don’t care about facts. That Louisiana shooting was clearly justified. That man was assaulting a police officer and evading arrest with a GUN sticking out of his pocket that I assure you he was trying to get to. Both cases are clearly justifiable shooting 100%. But they will riot all week end on the lie that they weren’t just like Baltimore and Ferguson . It is actually good for Trump. As the mayor instructed “Give those that wish to destroy ( innocent folks property) SPACE!!

I’ve heard of that, but someone said the lights were documented to be good after the shooting here so it sounds like... dunno what.

Anyhow Barack wants a war and seems to be doing the best he can to whip one up.

“This” — an allegation of Crip alliance?

Let’s wait until witnesses are sworn.

This is a case of defective procedure.

The unfortunate dead guy reasonably did everything he was asked to do.

The officer shot reasonably in reasonable fear.

There needs to be a new procedure in case of concealed carry stops.

The front seat adults in a vehicle with concealed carry weapon need to put their hands on the dashboard or top of the steering wheel.

The back seat adults in a vehicle with concealed carry weapon need to put their hands on top of a front head or headrest.

These steps should be required by concealed carry and motor vehicle law.

The officer should be told where the weapon/weapons is/are.

The officer should ask the concealed carry permit holder(s) to identify himself/herself/themselves by name and the type(s) of weapon they are transporting.

Then by permit holder name, the officer should ask where the weapons are.

The officer should then call for backup and tell the passengers to remain still.

....

I think the guy shouldn’t have died after a shot to the shoulder if he got proper care.

The girlfriend should have been told to try to stop the loss of blood.

“Did the person draw their firearm? Was the firearm pointed towards the officer?”

The guy was told to pull out a drivers license by the officer.

The guy told the officer he had a gun.

The officer thought the guy was going for his gun.

“what does this mean if you get stopped while carrying? The first thing is that you have to do to make the situation easy and clear for the officer....Roll your window down, place both hands on the steering wheel and leave them there until told to do otherwise. The first thing the officer is going to want to see is your hands, because that is where any threat is going to come from....”

http://blog.beretta.com/how-to-handle-a-traffic-stop-with-concealed-carry

“If asked for your identification, let the officer know where it is and what you have to do to retrieve it. This is the perfect time to explain that you’re a CWP holder, that you are armed, and where your handgun currently is. Many states have made it mandatory to provide your CWP permit with your license during a traffic stop. Just make sure that when you mention CWP, firearms, or anything else that could be perceived as a threat, that your hands are clearly visible, your voice is calm, and you don’t do anything without letting the officer know before hand.”
