By now everyone is aware of the officer involved shooting of Philando Castile that became a viral BLM activist case as a direct result of his girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds (aka Lavish Reynolds) live-streaming the aftermath from their vehicle.
During the uploaded video narration Ms. Reynolds stated the police officer pulled them over for a broken tail light.
There are several aspects of the narrative as told that didnt pass the sniff test, however, something about the tail light just didnt seem to make sense. Especially when you consider it was daylight when they were pulled over; and where in the aftermath media video it can be noted the tail lights were operable.
Upon further evaluation of the entire set of circumstances, something is missing.
Was there another reason why the police officer would pull them over?
The shooting took place, late afternoon/early evening Wednesday July 6th. [ Remember that, and stay with me ].
The people at GotNews chased down the social media profiles of Diamond and Philando, and unfortunately a familiar set of social behaviors surfaces.
Yes, Philando Castile was a gang member (crips), frequently picturing himself with firearms, cash, drugs and gang signs; and Ms. Diamond also has a colorfully broadcasted social presence

“Sounds like none of these so called police brutality are real.Gangbangers, felons, thugs.
Nope, not a real one so far as I can tell.....still the narrative goes on.”
They violently resist arrest, act in a threatening matter, refuse to obey police instructions even with police pointing guns at them - but it’s all on the eeeviilll racist police.
In the MN case, the officer was latino so the “white officer shoots black” narrative doesn’t work and it will quickly disappear.
Did the person draw their firearm? Was the firearm pointed towards the officer? Pretty sure those are the key questions. If the answers to both of those questions is no, or I dont know, then there was no reason for that officer to pull that trigger.
this is idiotic !
if officers wait until a suspect draws a gun and points it at them, every officer in that situation will be dead.
“an NRA bumper sticker on my car...so the police know there is probably a gun in the car”

Perhaps the concealed carry permit/motor vehicle registration systems should be such that if you are permit holder driving a vehicle registered in your name, a concealed carry permit warning will be shown to a police officer via the motor vehicle record system when running a vehicle check.
I said this very same thing to my husband. If he were the one who had been shot, I'd be spending his last few minutes telling him I loved him, and praying with him. I darned sure wouldn't be wasting those precious minutes with a video recording!!!!
No, that follows:
if officers wait until a suspect draws a gun and points it at them, every officer in that situation will be dead.
Hard to say anything in response to that.
He was on “facebook” making the crip sign. It is my understand that if you give that sign and you are not a crip, you are going to be shot. But that is from the street so who knows.
when i heard this my first thought was gf is an opportunist, to what degree i don;t know but seems to me her priorities in the moment were something other than her boyfriend.
Communication.
I keep seeing poor or lack of full communication in many of these police/suspect gone wrong events.
Police need to state things clearly.
Person stopped or suspect in question needs to speak clearly and state FULL info.
for suspect to be asked for ID, but instead changes subject and say I got a gun and reach for some ting WITHOUT Clarifying what he is reaching fro to the police, Suspect asked for problem, imo.
Granted police could have quickly say “STOP” or ask a clarifying question, or say hands on dash now or some ting but The suspect seems to have instigated confusion and a problem.
Well, per her story, the officer told him to get his license and registration, so that’s why his hands weren’t on the dash. The officer seemingly panicked and thought he was reaching for something else. The officer sounded upset in the video like there was a misunderstanding.
That occurred to me when this was posted the other day, however, after more facts have come out, I would contribute it to adrenalin and the heat of the moment. This could have been the first time that officer was involved in a shooting, or even drawn his gun, for instance. I would take extreme care interpreting 'her' side of the story now.
To become a member of the Crips you have to be involved in killing someone.
Who did he murder?
Bobo gonna get nothing but a second-row seat at Trump's inauguration and a plane ticket to Hawaii...
"How long are we going to abdicate law and order," House GOP leader Gerald Ford demanded in 1966, "in favor of a soft social theory that the man who heaves a brick through your window or tosses a firebomb into your car is simply the misunderstood and underprivileged product of a broken home?"
He had a felony record, he WAS a gang member NO WAY he had a CCW PERMIT!!!!
“To become a member of the Crips you have to be involved in killing someone.
Who did he murder?”
Perhaps he was an “Aspiring” Crips who was gettin heez thangs toogyathuh. Life cut short by da racist fascist pO-leece
I think I saw a picture of the car with the rear lights on, but they have so many rear lights these days that I don’t know if a tail light was out or not.
Really doesn’t matter to me what kind of stop it was. The crux of the matter is what went down that caused the shooting.
The photos at the store look like the guy. Case closed.
Where did you read that?
I noticed Castile was sitting in the passenger seat when shot and the woman was behind the steering wheel. She claims he was going for his drivers license and registration. But why would the police officer ask the passenger for a dl and registration. He would be asking the driver. She said she advised there was a firearm in the car which would consciously put the cop on alert and in a defensive state of mind when Castile starts fumbling around allegedly for dl and registration. I do not think we are hearing the full story here.
