But you trust them to defend this country from all enemies foreign and domestic? But can’t accomplish a stooge position of VP?

What should that matter?? Abortion is a state matter. Aso long as he’s ok with fed govt not funding PP, his pro choice views are irrelevant.

I don’t believe for one minute that Donald Trump is vetting Gen Flynn for VP. More like DOD.

Flynn is a Democrat for one thing and we don’t need that on the ticket. I would frankly be furious about it. In any event Trump needs a seasoned legislator as his running mate and Republican. He will need a person who can shepherd his legislative agenda through Congress so it comes out the other end in some reasonable semblance of its original intent.

I agree with that speculation. He also is finding the team players and the selfish. Can’t wait for Dr. Carson to preside at HHS. I would consider Bill Bennett to reform Education (WAY DOWN). The fun one may be Carl Icahn as Secretary of Treasury and watch what happens to Dodd Frank enforcement. Pop corn time!!

The Washington Post is not a credible source. Their analysis is biased, which is their legal right and ethical shame, and their facts are often pure fantasy and devolves into Liberal, fascist propaganda.

The VP position requires a “Political” capability. I guess your missing my point. Flynn is skilled in killing enemies and breaking their stuff real bad, He is apolitical by training and practice ,like the disaster I cited with Admiral Stockdale— A true national military hero far in excess of Flynn in that regard. Newt is the man. Even a governor has no clue about governing in Washington but a Lt.General surely does not. Not a good decision.

If you have to ask that question on a Conservative website, and even use the rhetoric of the pro-infanticide left, you’re at the wrong place, pal.

Sessions is probably the best choice. He was in the military. He’s been a judge and a state attorney general. Of course he has been a fearless senator. He’s not a bomb thrower like Newt can be. He’s not colorful but he’s as solid as they come. He would be a calming influence on Trump. I like Newt, but he can be a polarizing figure at times. I’m not sure he and Trump would see eye to eye long term. Sessions would work for the common good and would not have his own agenda.

I totally agree. Based on who he’s vetted so far, you can peg some of the cabinet positions to the interviewees.

I hope he does pick the general.

I’m not interested in anyone from the GOP, except for West, who is also former military.

No one from the GOP deserves to be elevated to VP.

I’ve never seen a bigger collection of losers in my life.

I agree. Sessions is a prince. He would be a good VP but he’s needed more in the Senate and Trump will win AL hands down in the general. I want Newt but I think its going to be Pence. I read an article the other day that said Trump is expected to announce this coming Thurs or Friday just before the convention.

IMO Trump has already decided as Corker and Ernst have dropped out. He likely told them they were not the one and gave them a chance to withdraw.

In your scenario, I think Flynn would be more effective as Sec Def. why would a three star want to be president of the Senate, listening to a bunch of crooked politicians and lawyers.

I saw one of those interviews re torture. He was tippy-toeing around the topic for political reasons. We don’t really know for certain his position behind closed doors.

Yup! Carreer military guys go to where they were by killing people and breaking stuff. I think the only order Trump would give Flynn would be,to change the name of his department to "The Department of War."

“I am stunned that he would consider any military figure as Vice President. Different skill set needed.”

I agree. That is why I don’t think it will happen.

No one from the RINO Establishment, but the same goes for NO Democrats, either. A pro-infanticide Democrat for VP ? We got that already with Plugs the Plagiarist.

That’s because you’d rather have Nancy Pelosi’s sofa cuddle buddy.

I don’t know who I want for VP anymore. Everyone talked about so far has too many reasons why they should not be chosen. Yesterday I was going back to Ted Cruz should be the pick. Then I was thinking Cruz supporters like Mark Levin will make probably make Trump look stupid and Trump supporters feel like crap if Trump picked Cruz.

I guess I’ll go with Cruz for VP if he will accept it and go back to being a big Donald Trump supporter. And if supporters of both Trump and Cruz don’t drone on about what was said about each in the primaries.
