Saiga 5.45x39. AK-74 variant with Magpul furniture, red dot sight. 30 rd mag. About a $650 rifle. Nothing special. Can't import them anymore after Obama banned the imports.

I have an SKS modified with a nylon folding stock with a 30 rnd mag plus a red dot sight. Looks mean but still an SKS

Why is there so much intrigue when it comes to these mass murderers?
And the biggest questions never get answered.
For instance at Sandy Hook, how come we never got a straight answer re: the loon that lived next door and professed to have had 10 of the kids in his house for 4 hours after the shooting. He nearly delighted in spoon feeding the media with what it wanted to hear re: the anti gun agenda. Of course, it never happened. He never had all those kids in his house for all those hours.

Only the FBI knows for sure.

Rifle in the rubble is an AK variant, usually called a Saiga, note the stamped metal receiver and the standard AK magazine. The Saiga is a civilianized AK, they cover up the gas tube above the barrel that most AK’s leave exposed. The rifles pictured on left are SKS’s, they do fire the same 7.62 x 39 round as most AK’s. SKS’s, unless modified, have a fixed magazine.

obama will say it was a high capacity automatic glock Ar15. With or without the optional bayonet lug?

You make a good point.
I would like to know the answer to your question about the kids. Probably a political activist sensing an opportunity.
Leftsts have no qualms about lying.

Actually, the magazine looks more like the magazine for the 5.56 x45 Nato version of the Saiga but its hard to tell from the angle

It's a fully semiautomatic Webley-Vickers, belt-fed with a cop-killing bayonet lug and a Hubble telescopic sight. I've use mine to shoot through the center of the earth and pick off kangaroos in Australia.
Why yes, I'm the firearms consultant for CNN. How did you know?
To: E.Allen
I read somewhere on an earlier thread that it was indeed an AK variant (Russian Saiga) chambered for the 5.45x39 (AK-74 cartridge).

perhaps you meant it closely resembles the one you lost years ago in that unfortunate boating accident
To: Myrddin
Can't import them anymore after Obama banned the imports. Obama can ban imports but Trump can't. Cool. All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than other animals.
