NEW HAVEN >> Yale University has told the dining hall worker who broke a window pane depicting slaves that it will seek to have charges against him dismissed, and a prosecutor said Wednesday the state tries not to pursue property crimes where parties work it out.
David Strollo, supervisory assistant state’s attorney for the New Haven Geographical Area, said he couldn’t comment specifically on Corey Menafee’s case, but said, “Generally speaking, as a practical matter, the state’s not interested in this type of thing,” specifically “property crime vs. going out and hurting somebody.”
“If the parties come to a resolution on their own, generally the state does not continue to be involved in a property crimes case,” Strollo said.
The next step, said Menafee’s lawyer, Patricia Kane, is trying to get her client’s job back.
“The charges are going to be dropped against Mr. Menafee,” said Kane, who took Menafee’s case on a pro bono basis just before he appeared in court Monday on charges of second-degree reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor, and first-degree criminal mischief, a felony.

“He does want his job back. He’s got a family to support,” Kane said. “He likes his job … he likes his colleagues.” Menafee is married and has two children, Kane said.
“I think Yale would do well to cooperate” and return Menafee to the job in Calhoun College that he held for eight years, Kane said. “I think it would be a good gesture. Yale is in transition on these issues and it would show they’re interested in doing the right thing.”

This country is awash in black privilege. Blacks are allowed to do a great many things which I am simply not allowed to do.
And all of their privilege seems to make them angrier and more and more eager to lash out and hurt people and destroy things. But that’s OK. They can do that stuff as much as they want. They have the right skin color.

I’d give him his job back based upon his agreement to pay the market based value of the window from his salary ... consequences and accountability!
Yep, ‘black privilege’ is the tool used by the left to both enable AND excuse the violent acts perpetrated by blacks.
Give him his job back. In fact, put him in the kitchen. Then he can piss in all the student’s food to his heart’s content. And the students, to prove that they are not racists, can eat the food without complaining. That will probably save some policemen/women from having their food doctored by him. It will be a win-win situation.

After reading the entire article, I concluded that’s EXACTLY what Yale will do.
It certainly looks like a “pissing” game of black people against white people that has been ginned up by the BLM activists. White people aren’t quite as overt about returning the hate — they believe strongly in a veneer of civilization — but they overwhelmingly keep coming in at a sub-gospel level. Oh we’ll put up with them somehow, but sniff sniff sniff, rather than trying to fathom what their worldviews might be that lead to the irritation.
I’m seeing a lot of hate strutting out and about lately.
God is the only true answer. Love has to displace the hate. And it won’t, until people are willing to give up their hate, their grievances, to God.
