Easter is not celebrated in my house. We do Resurrection Sunday and Passover, teaching that the Passover was the means God used to teach the Israelis about the Sacrificial Messiah.

I'm not entirely sure of this, but I don't think that's the way things came about. Constantine--as I recall--did not follow up his conversion by declaring Christianity the empire's official religion. The church gained official recognition around the fourth century.

Most likely it was the former. The church simply mapped it's holidays over those that already existed on the pagan calender. This strategy served us better than wiping the slate clean and starting over. It also makes sense when you consider that the church was minority within the larger Roman culture for a substantial part of its early history. It could not dictate which feast days or celebrations were to be observed.

Are you implying that Easter celebrations indicate corruption within the church? Easter has a pagan facet, a vestige from the time before Christ, but it celebrates the resurrection mystery--the key doctrine of our faith.

I like the isolate them and kill them if they stick their head up or try to come over the wall. Islam will fail the Muslims when they have to do stuff on their own. Let teh west let them shrivel up and die on the vine.
There was no "mystery Babylon" religion in the Roman empire. There was the Olympian pantheon (which started to lose potency by the time of Constantine), you had the Greek mystery cults not related at all to Babylon. You had the Mithras cult (also not related to Babylon but to Zoroastrian Persia) and you the official Helios cult of the state at that time.
I don't know where the "Babylon" thing comes from in terms of historical Rome - I see it a lot on Protestant TV and youtube, etc - is it code for something else and I am not getting it?
It can be literally that quick. First they pretend they are oppressed then they gain numbers and they begin to intimidate. They get concession and then pretty soon you have a demographic time bomb in your midst.
If Western communist/liberals/aethist have their way Christians will once again be sent to the Colosseums through out the west unless they denounce Christ. They will try at least.
I have yet to meet a tolerant liberal or aethist who wasn’t full of rage and hate at Christians.
Flynn another demented Democrat has been drinking his own bathwater. ISIS is even as we speak about to lose its “caliphate”. Their last little chunk of ground is about to be taken away.
If we continue to allow unfettered Muslim immigration then we face a big problem.
