Breaking on Drudge
I am a retired Wall St deal man. Made my living on it.
It is an art...and it ain't easy.
But if you are good at it, it puts bread on the table.
Trump is a deal man.
Deal men are unpredictable.
I thought better of you than to insult me.
“this may be a head fake to help Priebus negotiate a deal with the #nevertrump members of the Rules Committee.”
And tell me why on earth would they float a fake name that can be shot down in a matter of hours to negotiate a deal ( a deal that is not even spelled out) with some NeverTrump people especially when this name is going to be public and cause a lot of unnecessary consternation and beef?
To what end?!
Go ahead. If you want to float Alex Jones level of goofiness, then don’t feel insulted when people brush it off as nonsense.
Float a fake name.
Get a deal from these people based on that fake name
Then choose someone else.
Makes complete sense...
You have lost a friend and admirer.
Uh...ok.
That will teach me to question strange conspiracy theories...or something.
Shouldn't teach you anything.
It teaches me which Freepers not to trust or evaluate too highly.
You have exposed your character...or lack thereof.
As I said, you lost a friend.
Do you realize Pence tried to claim when he was in Congress that it wasn’t amnesty to legalize illegals, as long as you made them take a trip home to visit with their family first? (AKA touchback amnesty)
Ok, I’m not sure remotely what on Earth you two are talking about, but FR is a discussion forum.
When you post A, you get feedback B.
I get it when I post, you get it. Stop acting like hurt kids and suck up when people critique what you post. That is the POINT of posting.
If I’m wrong, then point that out where I am, not some bizarre narrative about having low character because I had the nerve to point out something that makes no sense.
So far I’ve head more emoting than actual rebuttal. So spare me the tears and reply when either of you can use those keyboards to reply to the substance of what I said.
Hell I get all types of flack on some of my views here, and I’ve never reacted on such a way.
You are drinking way too much...seeing double.
There is only one of me here, dude.
Sober up and try again.
No, this is certainly not a “head fake”.
Uh, ok. I am looking at this on a phone, so maybe I got some names mixed up.
I still don’t get what any of this is about.
The insanity of choosing Pence must stop. We need a qualified candidate entirely capable of stepping into President Trump's shoes day one if needed. Newt is also much more capable and forceful dealing with the Congress and Senate to get Mr. Trump's agenda passed than Pence is.
Not going to happen. You’ll have to deal with it.
He’s not for a touchback amnesty where the come right back to the jobs they stole from Americans, like I read when Goodling ‘’pence’ and ‘amnesty’?
Once Trump becomes President and give back hope and pride to Americans of EVERY COLOR, you will see Puerto Rico and everybody else wanting to be part of the USA.....ESPECIALLY SINCE WE WILL BE A NATION WITH A BORDER.
FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELTS, THE USS AMERICA IS GOING INTO WARP DRIVE
He’s better than Newt or Christie on the issue & is close to Steve King out of all the last 10 years of House leadership, the only one Steve King gets along with.
It’s not like some lib patsy wants to take out Trump to bring in an evil midwest social conservative into the fold.
Newt is weaker than Pence and is a loudmouth. Last thing Trump needs.
Thank god it’s not Trey Gowdy that faker.
You don’t have to worry about me or the state I live in.
It will vote for Trump which allows me my luxury of sour grapes.
And no it isn’t all good. For someone quoting the Bible one should realize that not all is good. There is a right and wrong.
I’m still a Sarah Palin conservative, but I have a choice between one candidate who doesn’t know what to do with a 3 A.M. call and one who tweets all night long.
Nonsense!
You can’t pick up a turd by the clean end.
I’m annoyed and bored with ignorant or dishonest people parroting that same tired garbage. If you’re presented with two punch bowls containing delicious ice-cream punch, except that one is 50% urine, and the other only contains a few drops... Declining to partake in the punch is not a vote for more urine.
The story goes: A policeman observes a motorist doing a slow roll through a stop sign and pulls the motorist over, jerks the driver out through the window, and proceeds to beat bloody hell out of him with a nightstick... All the while the motorist is begging the officer to stop beating him.
The policeman pauses and asks: “Are you sure you want me to stop, or just slow down?”
For the last two presidential election cycles the globalist NWO types have put up candidates in both parties. One, the Democrats, have run on the platform of “We will rape you and murder you afterwards.” The Republicans have submitted that they will rape you, but will let you live, and the peanut gallery has screamed in unison that to not vote for rape survivorship is to support murder.
That is dishonest or stupid; take your pick. Whichever you choose though, you must understand incrementalism as a strategy. It’s been working for both sides as long as any of us can remember. No party has put up a candidate who has committed to reverse our trip to hell in a handbasket, even incrementally... You can have Obama for the express trip, or you can have McCain for the scenic route to EXACTLY THE SAME DESTINATION.
If you’re really curious as to who is to blame for Obama’s second term; who’s to blame for Mitt Romney... You need look no further than those who held their noses and voted for McCain, knowing that he was a liberal Republican, and choosing what they perceived to be the “lesser of two evils”. The fact that “we” went ahead and supported “our” party’s candidate served no purpose other than to embolden the globalist dirtbags to repeat the same process in 2012. We fell for it once. What’s to say we won’t fall for it again? Had the Republican RINO NeoCon party been utterly destroyed in 2008, we would not have faced a 2016 proposed Jeb Bush coronation, or this #NeverTrump madness that’s causing so much turmoil today. We’d be well on our way to recovery by now.
I support Donald J. Trump for president. I don’t believe that he’s the messiah, and I don’t believe that he’ll wave some magic wand and make America 1950 again. I believe he’ll be able to move us in a different direction slightly, and that’s a start. The only thing that can possibly save our republic is to make that first step, and incrementally move toward a better future, one election cycle at a time.
But if no one is willing to hold out for a candidate that will make the first turn, out of fear that some idiot will accuse them of supporting the dems, we’ll just be consenting to a slower beating.
Governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed. Not supporting the selected globalist RINO in 2008 or in 2012 was an act of withholding that consent. if you want to blame someone for Obama, look to those who enabled his victory directly, not those who simply couldn’t stomach a lesser evil. To do otherwise, or to state otherwise, is either stupid or dishonest, your choice... But remember, if you don’t vote for stupid, you’re actually supporting dishonest... it’s a binary choice, you see.
#1: We’re in agreement that DJT is not the perfect candidate, but better, far better than the other choice.
We wish the R candidate had been someone, but that was not to be. So be it.
#2: Take a deep breath, relax. It’s only Chinatown.
