THE MONEY QUOTE:
Finally, we believe that government plays an important role in the technology economy by investing in infrastructure, education and scientific research.
They don't want an end to the government gravy train that makes them billions.

As someone who worked in Silicon Valley for 15 years, I can tell you the these CEOs barely know what is really going on in the trenches.
Since 2002, messages and status reports are being filtered by middle management so it appears to executive staff that all is going well.
Craig Barrett was almost thrown out by employees at Intel because of this.
He decided to retire before employees showed up with torches and pitchforks.
Right now the only thing Silicon Valley CEOs worry about is the END of Silicon Valley.
The computer downturn is just the beginning.

Silicon Valley needs stricter enforcement of diversity requirements in hiring, and a lot more Section 8 apartment housing.

This bunch ALWAYS finds a reason to vote Democrat.
EVERY ELECTION they sign some kind of letter telling us why things will be horrible with a Republican.
Nothing new here...and just SICKENING.

The letter, which can be read in full here, condemned Trumps stances on immigration and insults to women as obstacles to innovation.Let's face it. The real issue is that these companies are not paying their fair share of taxes. They know that they cannot buy Trump, and will have to stop being so greedy.

I remember a quote from some book of wisdom which has stuck with me..”When youth rule, the people are brought to mourning.” Look at the richest people on the planet. Nearly all have brains which are still “pruning.” They are the owners of the world's technology and that might well lead to the destruction of civilization. Young people are no longer inspired to higher culture..Great music, great art, great thinkers, great heroes and heroines, great families, great inventors, great and insightful writers, great scientists, etc. No, they have been focused on basic and largely uncivilized human lusts and emotions even before they are old enough to be interested in such things. They are no longer reared by parents because both parents have to work. Everything truly is turned upside down and inside out as political correctness endorses a situation where the most threatening individuals win in all of the institutions which teach the children. Grandparents try to rear the abandoned Grandchildren, but with one foot in the grave, it is hard to do more than to try to keep them physically safe. It is so sad to watch and to be aware that lessons and greatness from the past of humanity is being lost day by day. If it can ever be rebuilt, it will take 100s of years with most human life being full of suffering and deprivation from day one. I ask myself whether the God I serve will intervene. Time will tell.
