Gosh, rich liberal Democrats don’t like Trump.

I am shocked. Shocked I tell you.

Greedy bastards. All they want is cheap labor so they can pay their Bengali engineers minimum wage. How ‘bout this for an idea: SHARE THE WEALTH with your employees for a change. Jerks.

"Over 140 of Silicon Valley’s entrepeneurs and executives have signed an open letter condemning Donald Trump as a potential “disaster for innovation,” praising government involvement in the economy, and claiming “diversity is our strength.”"

This sounds like a preemptive strike against Trump based on rumors, gossip and hearsay — unfortunately now the American way.

I suspect that these executives are clueless about the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers and associated limited power to appropriate taxes.

From a related thread …

In fact, a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting justices had clarified that Congress is prohibited from appropriating taxes in the name of state power issues, essentially any issue that Congress cannot justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

So while executives are hiding company revenues overseas to protect them from taxes, probably little do they know that much of the federal taxes that they pay are unconstitutional imo.

Executives from companies like Twitter, Google, Facebook, Slack, Snapchat and Yelp also signed the open letter, as well as Arielle Zuckerberg, sister of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Ev Williams, founder and CEO of Medium and co-founder of Twitter also signed the open letter.

F*** them all. May Muslims show them some "diversity."

What an utterly pathetic and useless pack of self-absorbed sphincter-lubes. Do they actually think anyone cares?

I wonder if they ever engage in long-term thinking. If the economy is destroyed by open immigration, a glut of unskilled workers willing to work under the table for less than minimum wage, and a mass exodus of skilled jobs going overseas, who in America do they expect to be able to purchase their high-tech toys?

The illegal minimally paid workers?

The Americans out of work because the good jobs went overseas?

The other Americans out of work because their highly skilled jobs were given to skilled immigrants who are willing to work for half of the Americans’ salaries?

I read once that part of Henry Ford’s business philosophy was that he paid his workers a decent salary because he reasoned that only a prosperous middle class could afford his product (thereby making him rich). Why don’t those Silicon Valley billionaires recognize the same philosophy?

Liberals have a diseased mind.

How stupid to piss off half your customers by taking a stand on Presidential politics.

Boards need to fire these mental midgets.

‘Greatest minds’ in America and the best they can do is sign an open letter?

How many of these signatories are or have been donors to Obama and/or Hillary before? Or look at it another way, on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being ‘sincerest core principles’ and 10 being ‘cheap political grandstanding’ what number is this letter?

Even people in the Santa Clara valley think the CEO class are selfish, deranged children.

Their latest rants just prove it.
