Nope. But if you're bad at shifting to the point where the computer thinks you might damage the transmission it puts it back into automatic. I'm not good at it.
P-R-N-D in a straight line, regular auto. Knock it over to the left from D into paddle mode. Might be good for racing. You can use the paddles while in D but as soon as you slow down enough/stop it goes back into auto mode.
